“Peruvian Chinese in Santiago”
Reviewed 18 June 2013

Had a great meal in Madame Tusan at the new Costanera Center. Peruvian chifas (chinese restaurants in Peru) are famous and ruin Chinese food for most people who have tried them because it never tastes as good anywhere else! The restaurant is very well appointed and elegant, with good and quick service. The food is very good, but the arroz chaufa (fried rice) is superb. Not the same as a chifa in Lima, but definitely worth a try for a change of food in Santiago.

“Good service, food was interesting”
Reviewed 13 May 2013

Went here on a recommendation to try the Peruvian-Chinese food... Had by far the best service we had at any meal in Chile. Food was pretty good, very interesting and the portions were pretty large. Meal overall was pretty expensive for what we received but overall was worth going.

“Yummy Chinese food”
Reviewed 8 May 2013

I visited Madam Tusan in Lima, Peru, but tonight I ordered for take out at the the restaurant here in Santiago, Chile (right where the Costanera mall is located). Very friendly staff, which took my order, served me a mint, ginger lemonade and a quick snack while I waited for my food. I ordered "Chufa" rice with shrimp...so good, and roasted chicken which was very good as well. I will visit again before I leave Santiago.

“Nice variation from the normal”
Reviewed 16 March 2013

This is a nice Peruvian Restuarant in Chile. It serves mainly Chinese type dishes, but also has the Savichi from Peru, this was very nice and fresh.
The dishes were in general very good, and the portions are large, you need to share one dish typically.
Work of caution, almost all dishes are fried, so lots of oil etc.
The servcie was great, and the a great modern touch is that the English menus are all on ipads, so you scroll through the menu, with nice big pictures of each dish, if you like what you see, you add it to your 'Shopping Cart' and that that, the waiter take the iPad off to the kitchen and you are sure to get what you ordered

“Good for a change”
Reviewed 13 January 2013

Markets itself as a Peruvian-Chinese fusion restaurant and that in itself is a refreshing alternative for a change in menu. Drinks menu is interesting with cocktails and juices that are sure to pique the interest. The menu also includes interesting combinations that are tantalising such as the Duck with orange, pepper and lychee dressing. We both found the quality of the food and the presentation to be somewhat above average without reaching the fine dining level. As noted in some other reviews the prices are on the high level and take care that you do not succumb to waiters' suggestions for add-ons that can inflate your final bill annoyingly. This is a large restaurant, with an extensive indoor area, a large outdoor area and a smaller pagoda type area which is a short distance from the restaurant and right in the center of the "happening" boulevard area at Parque Arauco. Well recommended on a weekend evening after 9pm when there is live music at the stage virtually adjacent to the pagoda.
