Do not buy the room with club lounge access NOT worth a cent .
We spend almost A$400/night for the room with VIP lounge access.
The room is awful , very basic . I request for Andes view, the reception guy said if you want to have view you have to pay more.
Club lunge Oh my God very disappointing. Very old,

Don't expect to much with your value of money.

However staffs are very helpful and friendly

I booked an one day stay and my experience in this hotel was terrible. The amount of money paid for my room was not worth it. The room is not worth at all. I wouldn´t stay in this hotel ever again. So, I do not recommend it. If you are looking for a good hotel, please do not wast your money and time!!!!!

After several year of not staying at this Hotel I decided to give a try... It was very ''interesting" to say the least... let's start with the Good: The service generally speaking is good in terms of how most of the employees behave. The Bad: they offer to me to pay a premium so I'll get free internet and the possibility to get free breakfast and happy hour at the exclusive lounge... here it goes... the happy hour... is not so happy; the place looks like a kindergarten, very laud and packed... so I decided to have a drink and leave soon... a few seconds after serving (self) my drink, somebody come and said ''you need to pay for your drink" I said "how come?'' they replied that there is a sign... (It was there in very tiny small print) But let me tell you about the UGLY... Upon arrival I was taking a shower... after being all covered in soap and a lot of shampoo... suddenly the water has stopped running...And I needed to clear and rinse using every water bottle available in the room...
Happy Travels!

I am Marriott fan and hold them to high standards. I stayed for three weeks and in every way they met or exceeded expectations. Service and customer care are first class. Next door to a large mall that contains a large grocery store, restaurants, fast food, money exchange and most importantly a reasonably priced, same-day laundry service. I requested a quiet room and although located near the elevators there was no noise, associated with the elevator arrival or guests. Breakfast, even after three weeks did not get tiring. The fruit is fresh, the bread is baked daily and the eggs are cooked to order. The staff is attentive and anticipates requirements. A hotel as it should be. Guest lounge sets a high standard, but did get busy on a few occasions.

Room Tip: I requested a quiet room and although located near the elevators there was no noise, associated with...

We liked so much our lodging in Santiago. The breakfast has a great variety of food. The people always try to do the best, helping you answer all our doughts. The only point that I didnt like (so much) was the room. It could be newer.

Pros:
1. Staff and service: I have stayed at many Marriotts, but the staff here is the best I've ever seen. They are friendly, attentive, and the place is run with military precision. This is a first class operation.
2. Executive lounge for premier members: If you're a frequent Marriott guest and have lounge access, the lounge is on a top floor with a good view. The breakfast and cocktail hour are fantastic.
3. Self-contained: Everything you'd ever need is here. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, a pretty nice gym, and a bar. Next to the hotel, there is a huge American-style shopping mall with tons of stores and restaurants, including US ones like Ruby Tuesday, Tony Roma's and TGI Fridays. Anything you need, you can find within a short walk including a "farmacia" in the mall if you are sick.

Cons:
1. Location (if you're a tourist): If you're here on tourism, the closest metro is about a 15 min walk. No big deal, but you're not in the center of the action as far as tourism goes. The friendly staff will giver you directions to the metro. If you're here on business, though, the location is actually a plus, since you're out of the central downtown traffic trap.

The hotel is nice and has a wonderful view, it is well located in Santiago. The service is good but the hotel is impersonal. Good for short business trips. Some rooms require repairs. Overall it is ok.
