I stayed at the Hotel Plaza San Francisco for a month and was amazed at the level of service from the staff. They were always very accommodating.
From the house keepers(when I remember my housekeeper's name I will revisit this review) to the bell boys, namely Sebastian Irarrazabal, who was so engaging from the night I arrived; to the waiters and waitresses, namely Juan and Gabriel who took attended to our needs every single morning and greeted us with genuine warm smiles.
My only instance of poor customer service was the lady at the sauna who was extremely dismissive. On one occasion she found a man and I waiting at her desk to give us keys to the locker. She proceeded to look at the man and say good afternoon to him while not extending the same level of courtesy to me. She just handed me my keys without a word. I think she needs a role at the hotel where she has no direct interaction with guests
Another issue of mine is that the hotel does not have irons in the room. I guess this is their tactic to get persons to use their ironing services but for me this was not necessary.More
