Marilu's B&B is wonderfully ran by a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful informative owner. The place is very clean, traditional, Located in a pleasant area, close to metro and convenient for city centre. The bed is extremely comfortable and we woke up with a lot of energy every morning. She provided us info. about restaurants, helped us a lot with checking our flights, airport information, booking transport, offering us bus card that we could top up with money, providing us with maps describing what is to see in Santiago and how to get to around, had breaksfast and nice conversations she treats you like family, I can't imagine a better place to stay in Santiago than her place. She was very charming, warm.

Very good place to stay! Located in the middle of everything, easy to get to any place in Santiago.
Good facilities and breakfast, and one can use kitchen to cook too.

Marilu is great host. She helped us with every request, gave useful advice and great explanation of where is what)
At the end of our travel we gladly stayed at Marilu's for one more night.

Don't be put off by the old furnishings of this B&B as you will feel safe and comfortable in one of the nicest areas of Santiago. The location is excellent with easy access to Salvador Metro station and Bellavista bar and restaurant area as well as great coffee shop around the corner (Grano IV). Marilu goes out of her way to help you. We stayed our first 2 nights in Sth America and last 2 nights which was a great way to finish off our trip.

MariLu is very willing to answer questions, and will go out of her way to find the answer if she does not know. Breakfast was good- avocado, cereal, bread, jams, cheese, meat, coffee, juice, cookies. Rooms were clean in this small hostel. Stayed here initially, went to southern Chile, and stayed again on our way north.
