“Nothing Special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2013

Tucked away off the main street in Providencia this is a small Irish themed establishment serving mainly pub food as expected. Small menu with some recognizable Irish dishes which are fine. I can though highly recommend the Irish Breakfast on weekends which gets really close to being the real thing. Doesn't open until 5pm during the week. Small area indoors with some tables outside. Not much atmosphere. Barman/Owner is friendly.

“The Shamrock or Just A Sham.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2013

I have visited this Bar a few times during my stay in Santiago, things haven't really changed much either, nothing meriting a change of heart about the place anyway. The decor is very much unchanged, wood bar, wall lights, a couple of flatscreen tv's for sporting events, I did notice a few new aditions though, all the lighting working including the uplighters on the entrance showing a couple of framed pictures,On the terrace a heater, new beers and ciders, even the mystical Black stuff is now for sale, although not on draught, this is a brewery fault not the retailers. The place did seem much cleaner and even the toilets have seen a coat of paint, the new batch of staff, complete change by no suprise, they are young, pretty and attentive to the customers needs, In my opinion why the place remains open, the staff are the business but not so can be said for the dull bar owner who seems to wear the same clothes on every visit, he still seems to have an aggressive nature with his staff in front of customers, maybe the reason non seem to stay very long with exception to Emily who seems to have become a pretty fixture in the place. The menu is all much the same stuff as it has been forever, the quality seems better on my last resent visits, but the white wear is still in bad condition with chipped plates and unsightly cracks, the very basics need attension here, maybe things are slowly changing, but something more noticeable is needed still, a revamp and a change of clothing for Mr Angry too.

“Off the main road and decent food.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2013

We visited this pub for lunch and afternoon drinks. We watched the rugby on two large HD screens and enjoyed fish and chips and bangers and mash. Food and drink was reasonably priced. There is an outdoor eating area and as the pub is away from the road it is pleasant.
Service was good and friendly.

“Fun, authentic Irish Pub w/ good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2012

Small bar hidden away in Providencia. Fun little place with live music on weekends and a laid back atmosphere. Food is also very good (mostly bar food). Try the fish bites.

“Fairly OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 November 2012

No Guinness on draught, just bloody cans, that's a serious problem for an Irish pub, isn't it? Apart from this serious issue I would say the place is fairly OK though.
