This is a small boutique hotel with nice sized rooms, lovely helpful staff. Nice touches with chocolates each night, but the noise from the adjacent main road is quite offputting for a good nights sleep before a plane trip home. It's location is great, walking distance of most of the major attractions and also close to the Metro/subway but breakfast is very limited as there under 10 rooms to accommodate. If you don't mind a noisy environment, then it's fine. The bathroom and amenities provided are very good.

Dear,

Thanks for your comment!

Our Hotel is located in a building that allows us to have two entrances.

The first one and foremost of Su Merced is from Coronel Santiago Bueras street and the second from Merced street. That has increased traffic, so the rooms towards the Parque Forestal are being equipped with double pane windows

This significantly reduces outdoor sound.

When we choose a product we always want to select the best, so we are constantly looking for the best alternatives for your rest

We appreciate your sincerity and be sure that for your next stay will be even more enjoyable.

Thank you for choosing us!

Kind Regards

Hotel Su Merced is an amazing boutique hotel with utterly fantastic staff. Prior to my arrival they responded quickly to all my inquiries. Upon early arrival, after an 11 hour international flight, they gave us a complimentary beverage and went to work to immediately clean our room. We were in it inside an hour. The top floor lounge and balcony were wonderful. A daily Happy Hour is offered in the restaurant downstairs and they would bring up drinks and small bite snacks to the balcony where we were able to relax and enjoy the views and weather. The room was small, but adequate and very quiet. The only downside was that the mattress was quite worn and should be replaced. The location is absolutely perfect with easy walking distance to many restaurants and tourist sites. I would definitely return here in the future and would probably splurge for one of the larger rooms.

Room Tip: If staying for more than a night splurge on a larger room.

We had only one night in Santiago on our way home from three weeks in Argentina. This small boutique hotel is the product of a tasteful renovation of a historic building. The room we had, facing the smaller street, was a little small, but very comfortable. I think the rooms which front onto the major street and park are larger, but possibly noisier. The attention to detail in furnishing and equipping the room is great. Nice toiletries, chocolates by the bed, and a great Spanish/English instruction book for how everything works. It was a very hot day when we arrived, and we were welcomed with a complimentary free beer which we drank on the terrace overlooking the park. The air conditioning in the room was also excellent, and quiet.
The location is great for walking the historic areas, and the Sa. Lucia hill nearby, which we did on our one afternoon. Being tired and with a long journey ahead, we ate in house, and our dinner was great - nicely presented and very reasonable in price, with a substantial discount which was a nice surprise. Breakfast is included in the room price and is very generous with eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, as well as the usual fruit salad, yoghurt, breads and pastries..
All the staff were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone staying in Santiago

This boutique hotel in in the center of Santiago. One can walk to the subway and go anywhere. There are several great restaurants within walling distance that have outstanding wines and gourmet food presentations. The hotel fronts on a large park, which is a comfortable walk, anytime. If you want a private evening, try a bottle of wine on the 4th floor terrace, that over looks the park. One is able to have dinner served on the terrace , and enjoy a delightful and a private evening, just foot steps rom your room.

We found the hotel's to be very helpful. They helped us arrange all that we wanted to do. We rented a car, with a GPS, that was delivered to the hotel. We changed our air tickets, and extended our stay in Chile, with the help of Su Merced's staff. We were able to leave our winter clothing in storage at the hotel, and return to the hotel just before we returned. We are happy to recommend Su Merced for your wine adventure, and look forward to retuning to Su Merced in the future.

Room Tip: Weekends are quieter that week days. Smoked Salmon is available for breakfast! Try the Santa Rita 120, Grand Reserva Cab Sav., with dinner on the terrace overlooking the part. Save an evening to enjoy the wines and delicacies at "Bocanariz" restaurant a short walk form Su Merced

The location across from Parque Forestal and a few blocks to Bellevista was great. The staff---especially Daniela and Constanze---were great, helpful and efficient. The only thing keeping this hotel from getting a 5 rating is the noise level of the rooms on the park-facing street. While the windows were double-paned, we could hear every human and vehicle that passed---all night. Perhaps the rooms that face the other street are quieter.
