On our last stay in Santiago, we stayed in a standard hotel room but with our adult daughter joining us, we wanted additional space/privacy without the cost of separate hotel rooms. We were pleasantly surprised to discover Plaza el Bosque San Sebastian which was a 2-bedroom apartment with living room and equipped kitchen. And daily buffet breakfast was still included. The location was ideal on a quiet side street close to lots of restaurants, shopping and the subway. Staff was wonderful - very helpful and spoke English fluently which was a huge help for us. Only two drawbacks. There was no pool or access to pool which would have been nice in the hot weather. And the apartment looked/felt a bit warn. But overall a very good experience and would consider staying there again.

Room Tip: Upper floors might avoid street noise.

We only had one night in Santiago and booked this hotel in Las Condes because of the convenient location. I would love to have stayed longer!
The suites are well appointed and in good shape; you have everything you need with the separate sitting area and the little kitchen. Our bathroom was a bit small, but OK.
The beds are very comfortable - I slept like a baby - with soft linens and good pillows. The towels are soft and thick. Those are the things that make me happy when traveling!
The breakfast buffet offered the usual: cereals, fresh fruit, sweet breads, eggs etc. and it's included in your rate. Wifi was good and also free.
The hotel provided a taxi service back to the airport for a reasonable fee.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone, whether it's on business travel or for leisure! Excellent deal for the money!

Room Tip: Higher up you have a better view.

The Plaza El Bosque San Sebastián (not to be confused with its sister hotel a block away) is a boutique hotel with one bedroom units with a complete kitchen (electric stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker). There a mini-market next door and a probably slightly larger market a block away. The units are quite large, with separate kitchen, dining area merging into the living room with a couch, and a bed room. Multiple channels in many languages on their satellite TV. There are about a dozen restaurants within a few blocks walk (check Trip Advisor for reviews!). The Tobalaba Metro station is about 4 short blocks away, within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is primarily residential, with many small hotels, a few big chain hotels, and ground floor shops (although houses a few blocks away are ringed by barbed wire or electrified fences). Our morning flight required us to check out before the breakfast buffet opened, so cannot comment on that or on the Puro Bistro in the lobby. We got a great price through an on-line travel service. Would definitely stay here again.

The Plaza el Bosque - San Sebastian - is nicely located in a quiet street and at the same time in a busy neighborhood, with good restaurants and shopping. The rooms were quite big (two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen), with independent air conditioning systems. During my stay, staff was helpful and efficient. Definitely not expensive for what it offers.

This suite hotel was perfect for my needs, located in the CBD, but still with a suburban feel.

Reception staff spoke fluent English, were very helpful in explaining the facilities as well as the Santiago Metro system and ticketing.

The bellhop explained the features of the room (listen to the explanation about the safe; it's different to that found in many hotels...and I didn't and had to get it reset. The safe is quite small, too, which is a negative.

My room faced the rear of the hotel and was fine for the first night (a Thursday) but club music floated up on the next night (Friday). Probably worse in full Summer.

The room was cleaned and remade well, with all toiletries replaced. Can't be faulted in my experience.

All up, the one noisy night aside, this was a very good place to stay, and I'd return, perhaps inquiring first about a quieter room

I stayed here twice; on my way to Rapa Nui and then back for a two days lay-over before travelling to Torre del Paine. In both occasion I was very happy with the spacious, functional and clean rooms I have had. Staff was nice, concierge was helpful, room service was quick and nice notwithstanding the very late check in and they allowed me to store my luggage for the two days I spent on Easter Island, enabling me to travel light. Great location in an upper scale area of Santiago, not too close to downtown but just one block away from the nearest subway station. I had a very nice stay.
