“Convinient and Safe Location.”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

The hotel is in an excellent location. My boyfriend and I stayed there for Christmas and New Year's of 2012. Still, we remember the spacious, clean room, just like the pictures. The location is the best, quiet and nice neighborhood but most of all very safe. We walked all the time day and night to nearby coffee shops, restaurants. Underground train is within walking distance and it takes you everywhere you want to explore the city. The staff is amazing and fluent in English.

Tip: Take the group taxis is way cheaper to and from the airport.

I had the pleasure of staying here while visiting a girlfriend that was studying abroad. The hotel was a great location within walking distance of the Mall and other shopping areas. There is also a small store right next door to get drinks and snacks at which was very convenient. It was a very safe neighborhood. The hotel was beautiful, and had a WONDERFUL breakfast buffet that was included... Sooooo Good! We had a 2 bedroom, I only saw one of the bedrooms because 2 other students were studying in that room. However the "living room" was a great size. It had a small couch and love seat, and a table with 2 chairs. The hotel also had a great size balcony with great views of the street. The bathroom was a little small, especailly the shower I would consider myself of an average built and there was not a lot of room to move. There was an area kinda a second small room with a fridge and sink. The bedroom was quite small, but it didn't bother me I was only in it to sleep. It had two twin beds, and a closet. There were no TV's, (unless there was one in the other room) but I don't speak Spanish so that didn't bother me The staff were very friendly and the concierge spoke did speak English so that was a huge plus. The hotel does have several computers for use in the downstairs Lobby. The only tips I would give anyone visiting if you don't speak Spanish learn! That is my only regret before visiting S. America.

We book here and our room was unfortunately not available when we checked in, so the Hotel upgraded us into a room twice the price for the duration of our stay, even when our original room would have been available. That is a level of service that we didn't expect and we loved our stay. The pool deck offers a beautiful view of the skyline at night, and the buffet in the morning was framed by the majestic Andes from the dining room windows.

Stayed for two nights while in Santiago. Rooms are quite comfortable but the restaurant food is lacking. In fact the breakfast buffet had a limited selection. Overall location was good and very close to a restaurant district.

It was one of the hotels I felt well. The personal was. The rooms are cleaned. The internet works all over, even in the elevator :). The food was really fresh n good, even they got not very much variety. It was the second time I was there, after the 3 years and the hotel got a lot of improvments, even 3 years ago it was ok too. The prices were not so high even they got a central position, fresh air zone, and nice views.

Room Tip: Upper floors got the best Santiago's view.

We spent 2 nts at this suite hotel and loved it. The hotel is more of a suite/apt. hotel on a quite street. Checkin was very efficient and even though we arrived early from the US they had a room ready for us. The front desk staff is very polite and helpful. Alejandro the concierge is a sweetheart (he is from Canada) and gave us various tips and was of great assistance.

The hotel is smaller than its sister property (the Ebro on the next st.) but I thought it was more personal. We had a studio suite which had a good size bedroom, living room a small kitchenette and a tiny dining table for 2. Exactly what we needed for a short stay. A buffet breakfast is included which is the standard basic stuff but sumptuous. There are 3-4 suites per floor so very quite. The suite had a tiny balcony overlooking a st. at the back.

The hotel is a few blocks walk from the Metro station: Tobalaba. You can take the red line to the city center and most of the sights - Plaza de Armas, the Palace, Bellavista neighborhood, San Cristobal, downtown marketplace and Los Dominicos where there is a quaint church and an artisan market. We also took the blue line to Plaza de Puente Alto from where you can take a short cab ride to the Concha y toro winery which was worth a visit. The newest and largest mall Constanera is a short walk from the hotel. The Jumbo grocery store was a good place to purchase some basic food items and drinks. We took a shuttle from TransVIP from the airport to the hotel and used another shuttle service back to the airport. There are several restaurants close to the hotel and at the mall.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Plaza el Bosque and I would highly recommend this place for a short stay.

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor and a 1 bedroom suite.
