A group of 4 of us flew into Santiago and wanted to see the best the region had to offer in a short 4 days. We contacted Jana, Victor and Pablo and asked them to create a tailored made adventure and the itinerary they put together went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Jana put together a plan for us to hike to a glacier in Maipo Valley, camp next to a hot spring so we could soothe our sore muscles after the trek, ride horses on the mountainside in the Northern Region an hour outside of Santiago; paragliding at sunset to take in the massive city, spend the night in a cabin in the countryside, and explore wine country. After every activity, Jana and Victor provided us with a spread of delicious meals that catered to our dietary needs. We enjoyed a night of grilling, wine toasts at sunset, pico sours, homemade local dishes, appetizers of olives and cheese and fresh watermelon for a mid day snack. Pablo, our guide for the 4 days, took us to local restaurants for breakfast and lunch and became the 5th member of our group. His personality was so warm and we loved his humor. He survived 4 days in the car with us so that alone makes him a miracle worker. He was extremely knowledgeable and spoke perfect english (since our spanish skills were nonexistent). Victor helped make sure our accommodations were perfect (2 nights of camping, 1 night in a cabin) and he entertained us with his adventurous stories. When it was time to part ways, Pablo even dropped us off at our accommodations in Valparaiso and Jana continued to send us suggestions of activities to do the remainder of our trip. The time we spent with these 3 individuals was by far the best part of our vacation in Chile. They took care of every detail and Jana's extra touches were amazing. If we make it back to Chile, meeting up with these 3 extraordinary guides will be at the top of our list!
