Absolutely clean and comfortable. Good location. Although everybody says that Providencia is the best and unquiet place to be hosted, it was everything closed by 9PM daily. And open time is after 10:30 AM..quite late for a agitate place. The inconvenience of this hotel is the lack of conditioner air and no breakfast included, since is an apart hotel, you have a small kitchen well equipped to figure yourself a meal, however, for the price, it could include a breakfast. The killing part was asking for a late ckeck-out (by 14h instead of 12:00h) and they charge me for 50% of the daily rate. That was an absurd.

In the center of Providencia, close to restaurants, bars and subway. The apart-hotel is very comfortable, has free internet and a small kitchen with stove, microwave and mini fridge. The staff were attentive and friendly, gave tips and information for tours. I recommend!

This is a hotel which we have now used 4 times over as many years. It has a double bed, TV, shairs and table etc., plus a bathroom, plus a small kitchen area (microwave, hob, fridge etc.) with all crockery and cutlery and cooking utensils. It is really convenient, in between two metro stations (Pedro de Valdivia and Los Leones), with a Lider supermarket nearby for getting your groceries and 6 bueau de change within 5 minutes. It has wi-fi internet access, although this can be a bit patchy - so if you have a problem, you can go to the office and use their computer, or get them to find a different room for you. It is excellent for someone who is working in Santiago for a short period, it means you don't have to eat out all the time, and has all the basics. You can pay in Chilean pesos or in US dollars. You are in the top floors of a large apartment block with 4 lifts, with the lower half of the block being the Hotel Neruda, so if you use a taxi ask for Neruda and they will know it.

Room Tip: Try and get a room facing the Andes. This is not only a better view, but it is the same price, quieter, plus the internet access is better from that side.

I travel to Chile quite a bit, and the Cambiaso has been my destination for a number of years. No longer. There have been no updates in decor, the appliances seemingly are held together by glue and hope, and the wireless Internet connection is useless. Moreover, the elevators are always experiencing problems that workers can't seem, or don't wish to, explain. The management could care less about one's concerns. I shall add that there really is no pool or gym on site...one must venture to (and pay to use) a nearby gym that is shabby and apparently a magnet for the unsavory. While the location is great, stay clear of the Cambiaso. I have been choosing and will continue to choose a better and more expensive place to stay-- a place without a deficit in dignity--because it's worth it.

In the same building of Neruda Hotel, this apart hotel has really good location, huge apartments, fully equiped kitchen and very clean. We stayed for 10 days and loved this place. Close to many good bars (Liguria on Providencia Ave and on Pedro de Valdivia), restaurants (Astrid y Gaston, Del Cocinero and Aqui esta Coco), subway station around the corner, Falabella and Paris stores very close and grosure stores one block away. Perfect
