Holiday Inn Santiago Airport

Very comfortable and tipically what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. However, this hotel is no bargain for a family. The hotel only allow 2 persons to a room. There were 3 in my family so we needed to rent 2 rooms. I needed to leave luggage for a subsequent stay and was told that they would not keep luggage and had no room for it. I was told it was a "political decision" to limit the rooms to two persons. Another person told me that there was a law against more than 2 persons to a room. To be fair the other hotel at teh air[port has the same rule.

The room pictures posted on the internet show 2 king size beds in the rooms! The rooms I rented only had one king size bed. THIS HOTEL IS NOT A BARGAIN FOR A FAMILY. My mother needed a place to rest up from some long flights and we had another long flight in the morning, so I gritted my teeth and rented 2 rooms when one room would normally have sufficed. There is no complimentary breakfast or buffett. We opted for breakfast in the airport and declined to pay $15 each for breakfast at the hotel.

The free internet is misleading. They have the computer stations so they will not work unless you enter a code that give you 30 minutes of time. Unless you are somewhat fluent in Spanish the code will not work. There is information that does not have to be filled out on the computer screen to gain access and no instructions. I repeatedly saw that Spanish and foreign language speakers like myself unable to use the computer until helped by staff. The business center was maddening and most of the time useless. I have been to other hotels that supplied written instructions in several languages how to access web pages and e-mail with their coded computers.

To be fair the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly as would be expected at a Holiday Inn. This hotel needs to change. It soured my opinion about Holiday Inn that they have their name on a place so frustrating. I would reccomend that a friend pay the $17 cab ride and save money and frustration by going into Santiago for a hotel.

Great location adjacent to SCL, good restaurant, comfortable and large rooms that are very quiet. Cant ask for more when you are crashing overnight between flights. Only negative is that its a bit pricey.

Directly connected to the airport terminal, this hotel feels safe. It is fairly new and looks very modern. The rooms are spacious and quiet. Only the aircon was a little disappointing, because of its noise and ineffectiveness.

Perfect choice for an overnight stay between flights.

My wife and I stayed here after a late evening flight and had to leave eary morning. The hotel is just across the street from the airport and we just walked in. The rooms were big, very clean and quiet. There was no airplane noise at night at all. The complimentary in-room internet was nice since most other places charge for the service so I felt this met all the needs of the business/leisure traveller and actually I found this to be a better option than the stay in a similar price point hotel in downtown hat I spent a week in earlier.

Decided to stay one night at this hotel before moving on to other parts of Chile. Check in etc ok, rooms are big and though a little soul less, are ok.....Staff friendly. What I found unusual about this hotel is that breakfast is not included. One would expect a complimentary breakfast from a hotel of this category.....please note the price per night is not cheap for Chile (about 150 dolars per night.) To make things worse, breakfast would cost us $15 a person......we decided to have something across the road in the airport....

After a long trip from the UK it was very easy to walk 25 metres from the airport terminal to the hotel. Very pleasant staff and a good room for an overnight before catching another flight the next day. Breakfast good although the range of the buffet was limited. The rooms although very good for an overnight are rather souless - would not want to stay for several days if visiting Santiago centre.

I stayed one night but three times during my trip to Chile. It was a good option for changing place from one place to another. You just need to cross the street in front of the airport and you are in! The staff is very friendly, the rooms are big, you have wi-fi for free, the restaurant is of good quality (and pisco sours are excellent). Rooms are big enough, quiet and new, although a mini-bar is missing. Prices are a bit high, although the last day that I didn't book and I just showed up they offered me the (double) room by 125 USDs instead of the 125 Euros I paid the other two days. Breakfast not included in the price.
