This restaurant has many awards, so it seemed like a sure bet. Good but slow service, maybe because we were on the second floor and it was busy. Dishes were well presented, the gnocchi and the ravioli were superb. The risotto with a little too much tomato sauce, don't order the spaghetti carbonara.

The homemade pasta is delicious, the wine selection is really good but the waiters can be a little unpleasant (we had one who had no patience, so they changed it after we made the request). It is the best italian restaurant where I have eaten in Santiago.

We where 2 people for lunch at Rivoli on a Sunday, quit busy place. Food was average +, bread good and the wine we did choose was very good. Do recommend you to try Terrunyo Carmanère` 2014. We had a pleasant lunch and will try it again on another ocassion,

Service was OK, not good. The problem with this place is that it is portrayed as an authentic Italian place, but it is not. The food is passable at best but it lacksin quality and taste. The Parmesan cheese (or Parmigian or Grana Padano) is a cheap local substitute that might go unnoticed by many of the local patrons. And it is not not cheap, which makes the price/quality quite deficient.

The owner is an Italian and he'd better pay notice to this comments.

We had a wonderful dinner at Rivoli yesterday night. The Burrata was a superb appetizer; served with greens, tomatoes, and prosciutto, it is great with the generous bread served at this restaurant. It was good for four. I had an eggplant ravioli that was fresh and delicious. I enjoyed both the mint lemonade and the ginger lemonade. It is pricey when compared to other similar restaurants in the region, but its quality is certainly superior. The owner is attentive and kind.
