“Stylish and comfortable”
Reviewed 6 June 2012

We had 3 great nights at the Zerohotel with four other friends in March 2012 and we all loved it! The rooms were so stylish and beautifully decorated, as was the bathroom. All the amenities were first class - big fluffy towels, comfy bed & pillows and great views. Terrific breakfast room, with a lovely view over theharbour. Staff were very helpful and the honour system of drinks seemed to work very well. Great location, just a short walk to the most beautiful area of Valpairaiso. Highly recommended

Personally, if I do not want full hotel facilities, why go to a hotel and pay for services you don´t need. When is Valpariso you don´t need anything more that a stay at this wonderful B&B. (Hope I won´t offend the owners!). Good location on the "hip" hill. You can walk everywhere. A perfect nights sleep as it is so quiet.

In all honesty it is like staying "at home." Very comfortable and good sized rooms with spacious bathrooms. Limited public space but a very cosy conservatory, with great views. Very nice outdoor terrace with loungers and a plunge pool.

The staff are great and so so welcoming. Very clean ......perfect

Room Tip: Make sure you get a sea view. I stay in the room featured in the brochure at the top of the stairs.

We spent two wonderful nights at Zerohetel in late April 2012. The rooms in this 1890's building have huge windows overlooking the city and are have beautiful modern furnishings and baths. There are two levels of courtyards, a very nice morning breakfast area overlooking the harbor, and a convenient honor bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful and all speak fluent English. We didn't want to leave!

Stayed here in November 2011; first of all, I'd like to point out that the staff really went out of their ways to help us out with everything they could (arranged a tour of the nearby Casablanca Valley wineries, provided us with tips how to get around the city, arranged for us to be picked up when we had to leave for the bus terminal, etc.). This, from the start, made us fell very comfortable and welcome.

Our room was quite large, nicely furnished, and very clean - everything you'd expect, basically.

The area is nice, too, with quite a few recommendable bars and restaurants within walking distance. It's a good starting point for strolling around the city, too.

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends in March 2012. The rooms had gorgeous bay windows overlooking the coast, a modern bathroom and comfortable beds. All of the staff were friendly and happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions we had. The hotel has a restaurant where breakfast is served with big windows and an outside patio, both of which also look out to the water. I would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the ocean!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Zero last week when we were on a trip with his school. Hotel Zero was one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very quaint. We had a beautiful room in the back of the house with huge windows that opened up on a fantastic view of Valparaiso. They have an amazing outdoor patio where we had afternoon/evening cocktails and appetizers before going out for dinner. The food and breakfast spread was amazing. We had free wireless internet in our room. The hotel is located on the hillside overlooking the rest of Valparaiso, so it was fun to wander the streets.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back-side of the house are the only ones with a view of Valparaiso.
