“Upscale”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2013 via mobile

This restaurant tries hard but doesn't knock it put of the park. Food was so so. Service was excellent. Atmosphere very nice. If you're looking for a non routine dinner in a city that sometimes lacks diversity of cuisine this is a decent place.

“Pretty interior, average food, nice music, awful service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 May 2013

This restaurant was strongly recommended by our city guide and also by restaurant staff. And, they were open even though many restaurants are closed and none can serve alcohol (even wine or weak beer) on Sundays. So, we went for dinner. We had the feeling we were barely welcome, hardly acknowledged. We ordered 3 waters, got one. And so on it went. At a snails pace. And the food was average at best. I would not recommend it. Best option was the ceviche.

“It was music to my ears!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2013 via mobile

We went here for the live music and enjoyed the strolling musicians. It was early on a friday night - we were the first ones there- but we had several groups come in after who were celebrating events. Entrees were good but we really enjoyed the appetizers. Service was helpful and efficient. If you like strolling musicians then you must go! We loved the energy and talent!!

“Overpriced and touristy and too big”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 January 2013

We ate there on Dec 30 (a Sunday) because it was the only thing we could find open. It is huge - designed for bus groups and not a small group. The food is okay - but expensive. We spent more on a mediocre meal with mediocre service than anywhere else in Ecuador.
