We stayed at this hotel for a few days between a trip to the Galapagos Islands and A birding trip in the cloud forest of Ecuador. The room was very spacious with a nice sitting room and kitchenette separate from the bedroom.

The location is $5 cab ride to downtown Quito and the are some nice restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed a walk to the Botanical Gardens which was a ten minutes walk away.

Booked as a business hotel within walking distance to a very small exhibition facility at
Carolina park the hotel prooved to be not only a very good accomodation but also caring in terms of office services performed by the caring staff. Breakfast has space for improvement. Felt safe here.

Lovely little apartment with nice bedrooms, living room and small kitchen. We were there over Christmas and received a bag with little treats with the hotel. Staff also very accommodating re. our various requests. Only negative was that the beds were very hard, but that seemed to be common in Ecuador. Breakfast could have been a little better as well.

I stayed 5 nights. The staff here are amazing, its a pity they do not have a system for lost property. I left my camera charger plugged into the wall. i checked out at noon as required, but left my luggage at the hotel, and came back at 3 and spent an hour in their business centre. (The internet here is awful, you cannot open more than one web page at a time.) The next day I realised I had left my camera charger and email them. The response was yes we have it??? Why did you not try and contact me and let me know i left it there? Why was it not put with my luggage? I was in Quito for four hours after I had checked out, surely it was found by then? I asked for a quote for it to be send to Boliva, and but was told it would be cheaper to buy a new one??? Who do you think you are? They finally quoted $50 to have it posted???? Not sure if this is the actual cost or they are making profit. For this reason alone I would never ever recommend staying here. The beds are also rock hard, and the bathroom too small. The positives are a WIR, and you do get a lounge room which I did not use. Water was given complimentary. The location is ok, a bit of a walk to the shops, and a need to catch a bus to the old town. The breakfast was mainly miss. Many times the sweet cakes had run out and were not replaced. Once there was no fruit in the fruit bowl???? The door man was amazing, I think his name was Luzano...I hope they pay you really well, or you should go work at a better hotel.

The hotel was very clean, all of staff I had dealing with were great and very professional, lots of hot water, good location and close to a mall with lots of eating places. Only negative, some street noise, you will hear car alarms, music and such but not real bad for if i go back to Quito i plan on staying there again.

Room Tip: o1 rooms face the street and more noise

I guessing the plethora of glowing reviews about this place are due to it being difficult to find a quieter out of the way option in South American cities, but its not quiet. Sure it doesn't suffer the horn tooting, belching buses and street noise of Centro Historico but over our three nights we suffered several repeated car alarm soundings, general road noise, clearly heard conversations from the plaza in front of the hotel, endlessly barking dogs and the lift noise which sadly permeates all rooms but is worst in rooms ending in -01, the double rooms. Sure these are cheapest but also noisiest as they face the street and are not double glazed. Go for a double room suite, an -02 room if you can afford it, but even then barking dogs and women in heels or furniture draggers on the timber floor above us were an issue. Building quality and noise issues aside, reception staff were terrific, beds comfortable, lots of space and kitchenette most welcome and the furnishings modern. The bathrooms are tiny though. Final word of warning, during our intro, and on the mini bar list in the room, agua sin gas is listed as free and we were told if we need more than the one bottle provided to simply ask at reception. He forgot to add, 'for a highly inflated price'. Supermarket water is 30c for a 500ml bottle. They charged us $1.30 per bottle. Just wander round to the Oki Doki on Av Republica de Salvador and get them far cheaper. Not a great experience but it ticks many boxes and is certainly clean and modern so I'd still recommend it.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and it was just wonderful. We have been touring South America for a month, and what a treat to get home comforts in your suite. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk away for the city tour start point. There is also a large mall at the start point. The hotel is within 3 minutes of a lovely park which has a bit of everything. The breakfast is very good and staff are very friendly and can't do enough to make your stay trouble free. A parting comment - the body lotion in the bathroom was really good. The bathroom is a bit small but everything else makes up for that.
