“Best Pisco sour in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 May 2013

I go to Peru quite often and this is the only place in quito that makes it exactly like the top restaurants in Lima .
The octopus salad ( Pulpo al olivo ) is spectacular .
Corvina ( sea bass ) is heavenly good .
My friend had the duck and its rivals the one they serve in top restaurants .
A must visit place while ur in quito.
La Niña y reina Victoria .

“well above the standard”

We had great food here, very beautifully presented too. The owner served us very well and was sociably and attentive. Personally I don't like screens in restaurants, but you can sit around the corner

“Wonderful Food, Artfully Presented”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 October 2012

We stopped here for a late lunch. So, we were the only customers at this "off time" hour.

We were warmly greeted. The restaurant looks to be a great spot for evening dining with white table cloths on the tables along with flowers on each table.

My wife had empanadas de queso which came with a very nice olive sauce. I had a dish whose ingredients included potatoes, tuna, olives, red onions, et al. For most people, these would be appetizers. For the light appetites which we had, the were enough for a meal along with the dessert which we shared. The dessert was basically a type of flan made with condensed milk, eggs and spicse. It was different from normal flans in that it had no syrup on top and it had a marvelous spice taste (a bit like pumpkin pie).

“Peruvian Fusion Standards at a Nice Price”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 December 2011

I've been to Inka several times and always love the food. They have peruvian standards (causas, ceviche, etc.) prepared in what I guess is the modern fusion style. That is, they're more exciting and have higher-quality ingredients than what you'd find in a "comida tipica" restaurant.

There are a bunch of "Peruvian Fusion" restaurants like this in Quito. Inka is as good as any, but more modest--and that includes the prices.

It's in Plaza Las Americas, which is a bunch of restaurants and a cine surrounding a roofed plaza. So the ambience (especially acoustics) are so-so. However, the people-watching is pretty great.
