The hotel staff were very nice and it was in a decent area of Quito but $140 is way too high a price for a this lower standard hotel and the to pay another $35.00 for breakfast was just too much........we felt ripped off!!!

We enjoyed a short stay here on our way to Galapagos. The hotel is very nice and we had some great meals at the restaurant in the hotel. Walking distance to various restaurants, bars, Internet cafe and more.

We stayed for two nights are were pleased with the central location, large room and cleanliness of the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel restauarant was too expensive for us, but there are plenty of restauarants within walking distance. The staff is friendly and helpful in arranging taxis/transportation.

I stayed in Quito two times. Thfirst one in February and the second one in March (bothe times I stayed there for three weeks. The hotel is Ok for me, with friendly staff. A good restaurant. The hotel is situated near all kind of small restaurants and is near the historic center (20 min walk, but you can also easily get a cab for a few dollars).

Room Tip: Rooms on street side are noiser, but rooms on the opposite side are smaller with less space. As I wa...

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to a Gap Adventures trip to the Galapagos. It's a very clean hotel, quite modern, big rooms and good bathrooms. The included breakfast is excellent but the evening restaurant is very expensive and very average. Its a good 30 minute walk from the historical centre (taxi's reccommended but we walked back and it was fine). It's close to lots of nice restaurants and bars, quite a buzzy area although the hotel itself is quite corporate. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our rates were very cheap as we booked through G Adventures which made it amazing value for money but I know it's more expensive if booked independently.

I ended up here when the hotel I'd booked a room in decided not to kick out a guest who had decided not to leave, and to say I wasn't happy would be an understatement. The room itself was OK, and the bed pretty comfortable, but the staff were rude and condescending, and there was no heat, all topped off by being in a hellaciously noisy part of town I had deliberately tried to avoid, so sleep was out of the question. I couldn't help but wonder what the building was made of, because the noise was *so* bad.

They packed me a breakfast of sorts because I had to be at the airport at 4am, but it was completely inedible except for the fruit. There was supposed to be ham, but whatever that was in the box, it sure as hell didn't look - or taste - anything like ham to me. Even the bread and the cheese were totally vile. When I can say with a straight face that what American Airlines fed us was actually better, you know it was bad.

I stayed here for a week the 1st week in march and was satisfied with the hotel. The bed was ok, nothing really great, the beds were not as good as other hotels. The shower was rough to work, almost got a 3rd degree burn and the room key was an actual key with a REALLY big key chain. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Great little hotel!
