This hotel is located in the Mariscal area in Quito, close to Plaza Foch, very close of everything, but the area could be noisy, we stayed in a suite, very comfortable with modern decoration, very big bathroom and we had jacuzzi, the breakfast was good.

Room Tip: The suites are nice

Dear Veronica,
We are glad to hear that you had a great stay at the hotel; the rooms are in fact very spacious, so that we can provide all the extra furniture for better accommodation. We have incorporated a special noise isolation system on the hotel windows to reduce noise filtration into the room, this system has improved our guests experiences noticeably.
Thank you once again for you comments.

This hotel is very good for a good price. The location is very good. Rooms are a bit dark inside but very comfortable and design interior.
The personel is very helpful. For a day trip they can arrange a private taxi for 100 dollar a day. This is much cheaper than a organised trip.
I reccommend this hotel to you.

This is the third time I stay at this place in as many years. It is very good looking with comfortable beds and ample rooms but I always find defficiencies. The shower is overloaded with hoses the lavatory keeps clogging the toilet paper is hung in ones back. The tv is erratic. The restaurant is so so...for breakfast they want to charge extra for the bacon!! Meantime, I have found better places at lower prices.

The Reina Isabel was a great discovery. We had booked through Booking.com a standard room and when we arrived, they offered a suite at no extra cost.
The rooms are incredibly comfortable, the staff is very friendly, helpful and speak English.
The price is very reasonable for this type of hotel.

Room Tip: ask for a corner room on the 5th floor or more.

We stayed here on two different occasions during our visit to Ecuador. The staff is friendly and well trained. The restaurant is very good; try the 'ceviche' at dinner. Rooms are large and clean. I think there are two towers of rooms, one more upscale than the section we stayed in. Security is very good; when we had lots of luggage to store while away and it was always guarded when we needed to leave it in the lobby for a short time. When we returned from the countryside our stored luggage was delivered to our room while we checked in. Room keys are required to operate the elevators, another nice security feature. WiFi is free to guests and two PCs are available in the back lobby.

A minor quibble: the TV in our room offered only one English speaking channel - Al Jezzera America, but I didn't go to Quito to watch TV.

The Hotel is in a great location for getting around the city. The only real problem is street noise.
The first night a building alarm went off all night I got no sleep that night. I talked to Sabrina on the front desk. She told me she would change my room while I was out. When I got back she had not only changed my room but upgraded me and my daughter to a suite. She also was very helpful and went out of her way to help me get around town. She is an outstanding employee and a credit to the hotel.

Room Tip: Stay in the second tower. The street noise isn't as bad as in the tower you check in at. Also Sa...
