We had a late night dinner here on our first night in Quito and the restaurant is spectacular.
You'd never know it from the discreet access way from the street, but behind the walls is a stunning old villa and a wonderful restaurant. Excellent service, too many mouthwatering options to choose from, a highly opinionated owner who does not shy away from challenging your selections, an entirely sufficient wine list and quite possibly the best and smoothest Nutella gelato we will ever try. Anywhere.
No doubt we'd be back on any future trips to Quito!
Only things we'd change - we know it is World Cup season and Ecuador had won on the day but the big screen could have been switched off well before we dined at 9pm local time... and we will never share the Latin fondness for live pianists... oh well, when in Rome!
