This apparent hole in the wall is bigger on the inside, and the same can be said for the menu. An unusual item is "stoofvlees" (pronounced stoaf-flace), a Dutch/Belgian word meaning meat cooked in beer. Hearty and delicious with home-made roasted papas to soak up the sauce. The Casa spaghetti was beautifully cooked with a "carne" sauce with lots of vegetables. We prefaced these main dishes with a delicious spinach soup and an appetizer of avocado de la reina, graced with vegetables and chicken. Wine was good and reasonably priced and the whole was served with grace and competence. My only quibbles were the lack of paper in the tiny bathroom and the so-called music, the screeching of young male humans in full voice not, to my mind, conducive to good table manners, leisurely dining or proper digestion.
