The India restaurant in Arequipa might seem like an unusual choice, but is undoubtably one of the best places we have eaten in our trip around South America. The food is prepared fresh by Roy, the Indian chief who has worked all over the world, but now settled down in Arequipa with his Peruvian wife. We went here twice whilst staying in Arequipa and both times the quality and the freshness of the food didn't fail to impress. This is maintained by having a small menu with both vegetarian, meat and fish options - so something for everyone. The total bill each time we went didn't come over 60 soles, including two starters, two mains and drinks. Unbelievable value when you are looking for something different. Highly recommend.
