Maybe it's just where you've been, what you're into and what you've already seen but unfortunately i didn't really think this was any special...would have expected a lot more for the price. personally i wouldn't recommend but that's just my opinion

This monastry is an absolute must when you are in Arequipa. It is very large, perfectly restaured and gives you an excellent idea on how religious life was at that time. To be recommended !

The guided tour was great, so was the explanation and the architecture is outstanding! I would recommend anyone to go here.

A fascinating tour through this amazing convent with a guide will give you a real insight into the life of nuns who lived here. This city-within-a-city is full of interesting rooms and artefacts. A good guide will give you the stories of how the nuns lived throughout the ages. How they worked and lived. Truly a memorable experience.
