We were a party of 12. We rented 3 adjacent apartments, which were clean and roomy. Each apartment had a kitchenette with a stove, sink, dishes, and table and chairs. Each apartment also had 2 levels and plenty of beds and bedding. The bathrooms had hot water, plenty for all 12 of us to shower. There is no heating, so the tile floors can be very cold at night, but we found the beds with their heavy, wool blakets warm (we wore fleece pajamas).
The apartments can be difficult for tour buses to find, but everyone managed to find us with some directions. There is a small convenience store across the street where you can find basic food supplies, such as cereal and pasta, as well as bottled water. (Remember, tourists must boil your water or drink bottled water.) The town center is a short 10 minute walk from the aparment gate. We walked up and down every evening for dinner and shopping. The view of the city and mountains from the roof of the apartment building is quite nice.
The owners are hospitable and helpful. The wife is the only one who speaks English and she seems to be in charge of the apartments. She is able to help you set up tours, transportation to and from the airport, cleaning, breakfast, whatever you need. We did not avail ourselves of these services, except for a ride from the airport to the apartment upon arrival. The drivers were waiting for us at the airpor when we arrived and had clean vehicles. It was very convenient and affordable. They were able to transport all 12 of us and our baggage at once.
For the price and convenience, you cannot beat this place!
