This hostel had been recommended to us and we were not disappointed. It is about 10 minutes walk from the Plaza Del Armas but en route you can always stop in at Jack's for a full English breakfast if like us you are craving one by this point on your travels. The hostel is very clean, shared bathrooms are fine and the staff are extremely helpful. We were late booking and so availability was limited but the owner Javier went out of his way to make sure we were accommodated. We did have to move rooms and on one night where there was no availability Javier had to arrange for us to stay at another hostel but it was only a few minutes away and was also nice. The hostel was perfect for us as it was quiet and comfortable but close enough to the action. It was a nice walk by day and only 3 soles in a taxi at night. Thanks for a great stay.

There isn't really anything bad to say about is place. The team were all super friendly with good English. They even organized for my wife to be taken to the drs clinic when she got sick and let us stay longer than our origional booking to recover. For the price including breakfast and clean rooms I think it would be hard to find better value in Cusco.
It's about a 15min walk into the main plaza, but safe enough until around 10pm, after that catch a taxi for S3 and your back in a couple of minutes.
Also have bag Holding facilities if your going trekking and a reliable and reasonable laundry service.

Really loved to stay here. The staff was nice and helpful. Facitilites and rooms are good. I had very good sleep during my stay. The breakfast was included, a pancake, coffe, tea, bread and jam. :) The price was excellent for those of us on a budget. I would highly recommend this hoste.

Loved my stay here for 3 nights prior to my Salkantay Trek & 1 night after. Hostel is very clean, beds are comfy (I'd had couple bad nights prior to my stay here & was so happy to have few good nights sleep prior to trek). Staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast included a pancake one morning, fresh orange juice on another & a banana milkshake on my last! Real treat to go with the fresh rolls & various teas & coffee. Really nice big tv room with large selection if DVDs. Can't fault this hostel. The negative for some were a positive for me....easy 15 min walk to centre & it's not a party hostel which is ideal for those doing treks.

There is nothing that lets this cracking hostel down, if i tried to look for faults i would be nit picking, the breakfast was basic but they did rili try, and did different things every day..but basic is what you will get anywhere in peru, location for us was great but it is about 10, 15 min walk to the plaza wich is the heart of cusco..but again thatd nothing and just nitpicking! The hostel is the best..staff are just sooo helpful and polite and just dont stop cleaning and making sure your stay is great, all the reviews are deserved! You get cable in your room as well which is great for when you feel like your dying of alitude sickness!!!!

Price is good, place is quiet at night, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hostel is converted from a house that the owner (Javier) grew up in, and has a nice intimate feel. We were a group of 13 and he was very helpful in accommodating all our needs!

Room Tip: Ask for one with windows (some lack windows)

Javier and his team are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and had a private bathroom off the hallway. Its a 10 min walk to the centre but there are lots of interesting things to see on the way.
The kitchen can be used by hostel guest as well, and the only issue I had with this was that there is no hot water and no dish washing liquid anywhere to be found. Not sure if this is the reason for the gastro and stomach bugs quite a few of us got while we were there but it certainly needs to be addressed
