We stayed three nights here after going to Machu Picchu. The B&B is located on a quite street in San Blas area but there a few stairs. Carlos, the owner, and chef was helpful on making the most of our time in Cuzco. I would stay here again.

This was the perfect place to stay while in Cusco. The accommodations were spacious, light, comfortable and very clean. The owner, Carlos, as everyone says, is wonderful. He seems to appear whenever you need anything and cooks up a delicious and filling breakfast. The location is within walking distance of everything to see in Cusco. We highly recommend this special place!

A nice B+B in an interesting neighbourhood to stay and to explore Cusco. We stayed 3 nights in a very spacious and comfortable small apartment. Breakfast and service was very good but above all the extraordinary helpful Carlos, the owner, manager, our host. He arranged all the transportations from/to airport, to Machu Pichu and the sacred valley and his tips for the area were very precise.

We stayed here for two nights prior to our Machu Picchu trek and also for one night when we returned from the trek. The accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Carlos was very helpful and always available to us. We enjoyed our breakfast conversations with him. He even woke up early and made us breakfast at 5 am before our trek! The location was also good and Carlos recommended very good restaurants. If we get back to Peru, we will definitely stay again with Carlos.

This is a cute B&B with three suites, 2 in the front and 1 in the back so it's never too loud or crowded. It's run by a wonderful man named Carlos, who is an amazing host and will do everything possible to ensure you have a wonderful time in Cusco. Transport to/from the airport and breakfast are included with the price of the room, which are great benefits to staying here.

PROS: Large suites with plenty of space to relax, great hot water shower, comfortable bed with down comforter and plenty of pillows, plush towels, great radiator (Secret: push the button on the bottom to push out air and create white noise), great location (if you don't mind walking up hill a bit), nice breakfast (eggs, OJ, Fresh hot bread, granola, coffee, coca tea), good internet.

CONS: Not much privacy--it's rather noisy, but it seems that most places in Cusco have this problem. The rooms in the front deal with street noise and are above the kitchen. The balcony suite is in the back and much quieter, but has no bathtub.

Just one more note--Carlos absolutely saved our trip to Machu Pichu. We booked our trip through a company our friend recommended, and it was a disaster. They didn't know that the train wasn't fully operational and had set to pick us up at 6am, which would have made us miss the 5:30am bus transfer to the train. Luckily, Carlos knew about the train problems and helped us organize transport to the bus at 5:15am. He also let us use the phone so that we could call the tour manager to work out that issue and a few others we dealt with.

Room Tip: The two suites in the front can hear the street noise and have bathtubs. One is directly above the...

We had the pleasure of staying with Carlos on two occasions and each time we were given a warm welcome. We stayed in two different suites (bedroom and lounge) and each one was comfortable and impeccably clean with good wi-fi and two bottles of water left each day. Whether it was 6 in the morning or later Carlos was there to give us a good breakfast, he wanted to make sure his guests were fed before their journeys.

The first and final transfers are in the hotel rates which we appreciated very much.

San Blas is only a short walk down the hill into town, a little longer coming back up as there are quite a few stairs but take your time and don't hurry at that altitude.

Carlos is the consummate host. He wants to make sure his guests enjoy Cusco and the surrounds and he is extremely helpful with advice. I unfortunately had altitude sickness and he made sure that a doctor came to see me and the right treatment given.

The city of Cusco is very attractive with a lovely main plaza and innumerable restaurants and cafes to visit. It is also possible to do day trips and we would particularly suggest going to the Sacred Valley and surrounds.

Do go and experience Cusco hospitality with Carlos.

Room Tip: We liked our room at the left of the front door, very airy and comfortable.

As I say in the title. Look no further, this is your second home in Cusco.

Carlos, the host, is the dictionary definition of a good host: He just makes sure you feel at home, so just arrive and relax, he's got you covered.

Breakfast is perfect. And Carlos will prepare hot food on your request. Superb!

Rooms are comfortable, if quirky (because of the old house adaptation) but they feel so special: you want to spend time in your room, let's put it like that.

Location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to the city centre. And the main good thing about the location: it is QUIET.

Wifi works perfectly.

Transfer to and from train station or airport is included in the fee.

Bottomline: look no further and just stay here, for 2 days or 2 weeks, it's simply perfect.

Room Tip: Any room is great.
