We stayed here in may 2010. It was a great place to relax after the inca trail and in a perfect location close to some really cool restaurants and bars. It feels very safe and the staff were extremley helpful. For it's price it was great value and the laundry service was good too. Thanks for a great stay!

It was not easy to find the Inn since the unit numbers of the street were not in order. My single room was rather compact and functional but without wardrobe, hook or shelves to hang clothes or leave things around (you just have to share the limited space with the TV).

I enjoyed having my dinner at the restaurant at the end of the long day, after shower and just relax. The buffet breakfast had a few types of cut fruits, local bread, juice, ham, cheese, tea and coffee. It was alright and sufficient but not fantastic either, just do not expect it to be ready at 7am, you have to wait for about 15min instead.

Staff were friendly and helpful.

We loved staying in San Blas. It was a great location with its own neighborhood restaurants and great views. This hotel was an attractive modern building. The rooms were clean with flat screen TV, and the staff were very nice. Breakfast was fine. it was not just dry bread and fruit as others have said, but a buffet including cheese and cold cuts and yoghurt drinks. Our issue was with noise. We first had the room on the same level as the reception only to find that it backed onto the kitchen and was very noisy until late at night and in the early morning. We changed rooms and got one in the basement. You could still hear noise from the rest of the building but it was not as bad. Although it was in the basement, the design of the building was such that it was provided with a lot of natural light from skylights. The other problem was that the place was really cold. Another guest said they asked for heaters, but it would be nice if they provided them like everybody else in Peru did. There was nowhere to hang your clothes, but as we were living out of backpacks it did not bother us.

Not easy to locate. Taxi dropped us off at a dead end road to the left of the church of San Blas. It was the 100th block. walk a few steps, it became the 900th block. Confused. Needed to ask the locals. Turn out that one has to walk about 100 yards to get to the hotel from behind the church of San Blas and its fountains, to the right.
So, if you have heavy luggage, forget it, but it's good for backpacking.
Staff were very nice. Show to our room in no time.
Rooms were small. Barely large enough to open our bags.
Major problem with shower. either it's burning hot or freezing cold. Just when you turn down the hot water to a level that you can put you hand in, it turns itself off and the water became glacial cold. took 5 minutes to get the temperature just right. Certainly needs improvement in this area.
Breakfast is adequate.
Wireless internet- unstable in my room , which was located at the bottom floor.
That being said, it's not expensive and you get what you pay for.

Windows: no curtain.
Walls: not sound proof

So, if you want to sleep in the morning, forget Andean South.

But staff is very, very, very nice. And prices are OK. Location also very good.

So, it is an option, maybe not the best in Cusco, but in averega,
