Unaytambo Hotel was more beautiful than I expected! The courtyard is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the Cusco sun with a cup of coca tea. We had a Superior room on the first floor and it was extremely spacious and very beautiful.
The location of the hotel was second to none - just a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and an abundance of delicious restaurants were within walking distance.
I highly recommend a stay at Unaytambo!

Great hotel in a good location. The rooms are decorated stylishly and are very spacious. The hotel is the ideal starting point for your Inca trail and the price quality ratio is excellent. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good and there are really no negative points to mention.

Room Tip: 204 is excellent (not sure if it is a standard room)

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! Transportation picked us up on time and he was very friendly. Staff was great and even coordinated our cusco city tour. Our room 204 was awesome! Looked right out onto the Dominican church, great to sit at the balcony and watch cusco life in action. Walking distance to everything , no cabs needed! Hotel was clean and safe. We loved it, only down side was spotty hot water in the bathroom, but only a small inconvenience. Stay here when you come to cusco!

Room Tip: Pick 204, great view!

This hotel has almost everything you want in Cusco. Good attention, good location, a helpful staff, good price and good breakfast.
I will stay there next time.

3 girlfriends and I stayed here prior to and after hiking Machu Picchu. Staff was so friendly and helpful, made us feel well taken care of. Laundry service and breakfast were great and very much appreciated. WE LOVED THE TEA TABLE - coca tea, other hot teas anytime you wanted in the lobby area. Since it was chilly we really appreciated this touch. We liked being close to but out of earshot of the main square. A great launching point for our day tours and other trips. The rooms were large and comfortable. Bathrooms had an open ceiling so you have to feel comfortable going in a space where someone would hear you. Small space heater was only heat source in room - but other than that, rooms were perfect and cute. Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: We liked the rooms on the upper side of the courtyard that have a wall with windows protecting the doors from the outside.
