This restaurant has a daily lunch for a very moderate price that includes a very consistent soup, a main dish and a juice or lemonade or so. Everything has a "home made" taste that is really great for everyday meal.

Luciano was a delightful host for me and my girlfriend. We went at lunchtime on a Tuesday and it was deserted, only one other guest arrived when we were there.

We ordered the oven baked Cuy and the half avocado with cooked veggies salad. The avocado salad was delicious and huge, enough for both of us. The Cuy took a while to arrive but we were ok with that it came out amazingly presented for us to take photos. We wanted to take more but Luciano reminded us that it was getting cold and then took it to the kitchen to divide up between 2 plates. The cracking skin was perfect consistency of crunch. There is not much meat on these guys but it tasted good. Came with corn, potatoes, and a delicious meat stuffed and battered and deep fried pepper.

Highly recommended trying this place!

This restaurant was away from the centre of Cusco, but well worth looking for. The guinea pig was cooked to order and therefore needs to be ordered in advance. One whole pig is ample for two people, it is presented whole at the table for photographs and is then taken away to be cut up. (Other restaurants serve it as a stew, which misses the point of the experience). It was delicious as were the accompaniments and other courses. The restaurant had an attractive décor and the service was quick and friendly.

It's a nice and cosy restaurant with really good guinea pig. They even decorate the meal for you to take photo first before cutting. The staffs are nice and friendly. Price is a bit expensive for Peru, but it's worth it.
