We just stayed two nights in this hotel on our way to Machu Picchu, but I wish we could have spent more time here. The hotel is completely restored and beautifully decored to provide you with a comfortable feeling during your stay. The staff was very attentive, as it is a small hotel, so they were always available to help when we needed anything. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and provided all the amenities that you could need. The breakfast and dinning area was very charming with great food.

Room Tip: Check out the different rooms on their website and ask to request the one you like!

We stayed 3 nights then 1 night a couple of days later. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was comfortable. We had a minor problem with the shower which was fixed the moment we mentioned it. They arranged for a travel agent to come in and organise some tours for us as well as purchase our tickets for Machu Picchu. They made life very easy for us. We ate in their restaurant a couple of times and it was nice. They also provided recommendations on other restaurants which also turned out to be good.

The church bells start before 6:00 am and ring intermittently during the morning calling the faithful to their prays. Apparently they need a lot of encouragement. We didn't mind the noise but I could see how it could annoy some people.

Andean Wings Boutique Hotel is perfectly located a few blocks from Cuzco's main square, an easy walk to museums and restaurants. We received a friendly welcome and throughout our 4-night stay the staff was attentive, friendly and efficient. We liked our room in this beautiful, charming old building. The breakfast (included) was fresh and delicious. The hotel is considerate of the environment. We especially appreciated the boiled, filtered water that was always available so we could re-fill our bottles. This hotel thinks of every detail to make their guests comfortable.

We had a good stay here in January. The place is nice enough. But when I pay £100 a night for a hotel, I expect a lot more. The room we had was noisy (as others have written in reviews) from outside noise and indoor. The room we had needed blackout curtains, light from dining area at night and sunlight early in morning. The cover on our bed was a little dirty. The water took about 5-10 minutes some mornings to get hot enough for a shower. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Breakfast limited. Place was also eerily empty.

On a positive, the hotel stored our stuff when we hiked to MP and it was already in our room when we arrived back. Staff were friendly and helpful. The place looks nice.

If the place was about 30% cheaper, it would be spot on. From what I have read and seen, you can get the same, or better, in Cusco for cheaper.

It's hard to accurately depict this hotel in a written review. Some highlights: immediately greeted with Coca Tea (even before the paperwork was filled out) to help adjust to the altitude, open dining area with glass ceiling, cozy lounge with fireplace and strong drinks, accommodating staff, adorable rooms with flat screen TVs and cable and, last but not least, phenomenal water pressure and hot showers. Stayed in a handful of hotels in Peru and this was my favorite!
