This was our second visit to Cuzco and we were determined this time to stay in a "good" hotel after the previous budget hotel way up the hill in San Blas. Well the Aranwa did not disappoint! Such a nice hotel with character, filled with wonderful antiques and furniture. We ate in the main dining room twice and found the food and service of high quality as it is for all services we encountered.
Great bathrooms, well laid out rooms, not large but comfortable and efficient and the oxygen pumped in is a bonus at this altitude. Most rooms are facing an interior courtyard or corridor so we did not have a view but this was not an issue.
The location is good, a few minutes from the main square of Plaza de Armas although the street and sidewalk are narrow right in front so you have to be cautious especially when carrying luggage.
