“Luxurious small hotel”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

The service is exactly what you would expect from a luxury boutique hotel - impeccable! The location is outstanding - just a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are opulent with every amenity that you could need. The breakfast is great - wide selection, cooked-to-order eggs - prefect to fuel up for long days of sightseeing.

Room Tip: We had a first floor room and the windows were very small. However, we were also in a deluxe room so...

Stayed for few nights while on a tour and was very pleased with the choice. Interesting mix of varied sized rooms. All clean and well maintained. Very varied views: some exterior, some interior courtyard or hallway (cannot leave drapes open, but who is in their room alot in Cuzco).

Location is very good, with all sights, restaurants and shopping withing easy walking distance. Food services were excellent and accommodating. Many small and interesting public areas.

Loved the Inka Grill for local food. Interesting mix of business people, local residents and tourists. Music most nights, great atmosphere, friendly service

This is a beautiful historic hotel. We stayed before and after our visit to Machu Picchu, in a deluxe superior and a classic room. It is worth paying the difference in price for the superior room which is beautiful with a fabulous bathroom. All staff were excellent. Location is excellent. Our luggage was in our room on our return to the hotel.

Room Tip: If you can spend the extra cost on a deluxe room

Aranwa Cusco Boutique hotel doesn't overwhelm you with the kind of grandness that average "luxurious" hotels have. It possesses its luxury with elegancy and taste. And the staff were great. I traveled alone. And I was warmly greeted and feeling being taken care of by every one of them. Given the price I paid and the experience I received, I would say that I am very satisfied and the hotel is well worth it.

This is a lovely hotel but for our two part stay we were first placed in one of the 4 rooms on the third floor. This was quite compact but ok. For our return from Machu Picchu we had a lovely room on the street side but no noise problems. The staff are fine but what we find strange about this hotel is that every evening the restaurant is almost empty and so the place lacks atmosphere. Yes there are plenty of good places to eat nearby but for such a nice hotel it would be good to be able to say it had a good dining experience as well.

Room Tip: Slight road noise but not really a problem.

Dear Mr. Paul,
We really appreciate the time you took to give us your opinion, and your sincere feedback about your stay.
We are very glad that you had a nice stay with us and enjoy the rooms as well as the service.
In fact we are working on local promotions to encourage our guests to try more our Restaurant, having several places outside is motivating for the guests to eat outside and visit the city, but we will be recomending our promotions to have a better atmosphere and more clients giving us their impressions about our product.
Thanking you in advanced again, recieve the sincere greetings of the Hotel staff,

We stayed here the night before and of Inti Raymi this June. What a wonderful, comfortable extremely quiet retreat from the crowds and excitement outdoors. Having stayed at the wonderful Monasterio, we thought we might be in for a little bit of a let down. Not so.
Our check-in was effortless and extremely professional as we sipped Coca tea on the comfortable sofa before the fireplace in the elegantly appointed parlor surrounded by lovely art work and sculpted furnishings. The tucked away computer center was quite adequate. The breakfast buffet served in a sunny courtyard was awesome and omelets were cooked to order, and amazingly quickly.
The extremely quiet, oxygenated rooms were elegantly furnished with lots of closet space, fridge, etc., but the biggest surprise was the enormous black all marble bathroom with separate commode area, double bowl vanity and all the toiletry perks (even a towel warmer), and ESPECIALLY the huge powerfully jetted Jacuzzi tub!!! I can't tell you how therapeutic that was after walking all over Cusco every day. With my glass of wine, I could hardly stay awake in my bubble bath and hated to get out!
We also had a good deal of laundry and the service from the laundry was impeccable.
You would not make a mistake booking here. If trip advisor lets me post pictures after I submit, I will when I process them.

This boutique hotel is worth a stay simply to see all of the art it contains: paintings, statues, and ornate furnishings. Our room was spacious with high painted ceilings and a large luxurious bathroom with lots of beautiful marble. The four horizontal and vertical shower heads were a "first" for me and the large Roman tub was available for those unwilling to face the two-directional shower sprays. The room (and, I was told the whole hotel) supposedly had an continuous oxygen supply (great idea at Cusco altitude), but I really couldn't tell any difference from being outside the hotel and being in our room. The think walls of our room ensured a quiet stay. The hotel is located close to the main square and is thus quite convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would readily return to this hotel as a lovely place to stay.
