Wir hatten die Suite gebucht und waren mit unserer Wahl sehr zufrieden. Der Blick auf Cusco war toll, das Hotelpersonal sehr hilfsbereit. Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel!

This is a lovely boutique hotel with excellent service. Prior to our travel, Karla from Tierra Viva Cusco provided excellent communication to help us arrange with our stays. When our TACA flight was cancelled (don’t fly TACA), we emailed Karla to advise her with our troubles with TACA and re-schedule pick up service… Karla was very responsive, understanding and accommodating (even on the Christmas day!) She provided some comfort in the middle of the travel mess.

The hotel provided to/from airport transportation, offered us Coca tea upon arrival, and provided free wifi (which was awesome!) and even public PCs and printers. The hotel is pretty much at the Plaza de Armas, so convenient that we can just walk out to go everywhere.

We first got a Double Room with street view. The room was spacious, classy, and absolutely lovely. In the evening, however, the night club nearby blasted music all night… but we slept through it anyway (didn’t bother us enough). When we came back from MP for our second stay, we got a Double Room at the inside courtyard… the room was much smaller, and we could never open the curtain because it faced inside, but it was quiet at night. Either way, we enjoyed our stay at Tierra Viva Cusco.

Also, kudos to Mr. Eleazar… he helped us contacted TACA the night before our departure. He was very patient with the whole matter – he helped us sort out the mess with TACA airline (again, don’t fly TACA). We greatly appreciated his help!

Thank you, Hotel Tierra Viva Cusco! We will definitely come back!

Room Tip: Double Room by the street can be noisy due to night club nearby. Double Room at the inside Courtyar...

I stayed here for two nights. Among others, location and cleanness are probably the best qualities in Cuzco, though a bit expensive.

I'm not the kind of person that writes reviews, but this place deserved it! I wanted to share our experience, the service was impeccable Edith and Dino from the front desk gave Us the best service and their restaurant recommendations were always very assertive . The breakfast had a great variety and the bed was soooo comfortable .
Can't wait to go back ; )

This property is located a couple of blocks off the Plaza de Armas in Cuzco. Everything from location, cleanliness, service, staff, breakfast, transportation service, attention, etc is excellent. We stayed in the only suite, Room 501. This room is very comfortable, spacious and seems to have been recently renovated. The pillow and mattress and covering were the best. We arrived on 12/30, so we chalked up the discoteka bar noice that went on until 6:00 am and vibrated in this room. It was unbearable. We returned after New Years to stay another day in Cuzco. The vibration and pounding bass from the discotekas (they are apparently all around and there is a new one next door) was more than we could take. We had the front desk manager come up to the room to experience what we were. She promptly contacted her manager and we were told that we would not have to pay for that night. The hotel was full and they could not move us to another room. When speaking to other staff, they said that other guests have complained of the noise. This is very disappointing as we really liked this property and would like to say that we would stay there again, but we would opt to stay somewhere off the plaza.

Cuzco should do more to regulate the number of discotekas, decibles and hours of operation.

We stayed in Tierra for 3 nights. Very nice hotel with many details and characters. The first room wr had was big and comfortable. The second room was a bit smaller but still very nice. Breakfast was sufficient but not alot. Some staff are more helpful and knowledgable than others. The location is great as it's not in the plaza but 1 mins away. Lots of great restaurants around. Plenty of coca tea available for free to ease high altitude sickness.
