I stayed there for 4 days. Rooms were clean. TV, wifi and breakfast are part of the deal. Truth to be cold it's a cold but blankets help you make it through. Breakfast was available from 6-10 am I believe, and staff was very helpful and accommodating. Would come back to it should I go back to Cusco.

Rooms are relatively clean and neat. There was hair on my bathroom floor that clearly was not mine--wear your flip flops. Rooms get cold at night so dress warmly (BTW, not many hotels in Peru have indoor heating/cooling). Breakfast is okay--enough to get you going for the day. It is a little off the beaten path so you will need to take a taxi to the markets and sites as nothing is really within walking distance. Staff are more than happy to arrange transportation for guests, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the noise--nothing much to muffle the street noise (dogs barking, car horns) and inconsiderate guests' loud conversation in the hall and on the stairs..

We stayed for three days in this hostal on our motorcycle trip through South America. We stumbled upon it while searching for accomodations with parking included resonably close to the Plaza del Armas. (A rarity in Cusco). Atlantis doesn't have parking on the premises but there is a rather unexpensive paid parking nearby, and as the hostal is only a 5 min downhill walk to the cathedral, we decided to give it a go.

The staff was very nice, they arranged our taxi rides when we needed them and took care of out loundry so we were able to focus on visiting the sites.
The price was decent for Cusco and the breakfast included was average for Peru and the hostal's price range.

The only objection I have is that the hostal seemed a bit understaffed and that was probably hurting the cleanliness of the place a bit ( I noticed that there was a biy of dust on my socks when walking around the room, and a couple of times I thought the hallways smelled a bit stale)

Overall though, the experience was a positive one and I would surely stay there again.

It seems nice in the pictures but the reality is very different. The staff overall was not existing, just a couple of people during the day and one during the night.
First than nothing the place is a long walk from city center, but if that was it I wouldn't complain, another issue was that we got a room right next to the street and even do it is a residential area it gets really noisy at night. The beds are really stiff and the blankets are so heavy that even do it was cold we had to remove them because we couldn't sleep with that heavy block on us. The bathroom is other topic, not only the showers leak but there are no towels or even enough toilet paper available and the person who has the key to the pantry only comes during the morning so we even had to buy toilet paper once.
The staff are nice people but they really has no idea how to run a hotel.

Room Tip: far from the street

Stayed here for a couple of nights and this was the only terrible place of our holiday in Peru! No heating in the rooms, we could feel the cold wind coming through the door gaps, and the whole little B&B is decorated with migraine-inducing colours. Breakfast is basic and you have to wear your hat and coat (or freeze) while trying to drink the most disgusting coffee you can ever imagine. $USD 43 a night is far too expensive for what you get!

I stayed here with my sisters for 7 nights before and after our trek to Machu Picchu. We were greeted with a huge smile by Ronnie the main staff member at Atlantis. He took our things up to our room and we were quite suprised at the size. We stayed in a triple room which was huge and had our own private bathroom. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was served every day with the usual bread rolls (with jam and butter), juice and eggs or pancakes. While on our trek we were able to keep our things in our same room free of charge which was was really nice to be able to come back to the same room and not have to worry about packing up everything to do so. Also on the day we checked out we had a bus leaving at 10:00pm and were able to stay in our room for the night until they called a taxi on our behalf to take us to the station, again another thing they went out of their way to accommodate us. Overall, this was a great place to stay and only a 5 minute walk away from the main Plaza de Armas which meant it was close yet quite.

The local owner just recently sold out to a large corporation. I heard great reviews from friends who stayed there in the past but my experience was totally different. I was with a group of 7, the hotel did not have my reservation, but they had all the others that were made at the same time. Two people had to change rooms mid-stay due to poor planning. They would not honor the group rate agreed on by previous owner, hot water was not available often, towels were either never changed or not put back, the neighborhood dogs and turkey (yes turkey) never shut up, and no heaters were available. The building was nice, clean and relatively new but I would not stay there again. It is only a 5 minute, easy walk to San Blas square. The staff was very nice but did not seem to have a lot of training.

I would like to give my thanks for your opinion about our hotel and also about our services, without doubt it will be useful for us to improve our services later, how ever, I would like to answer some things that I think is it necesary, at first, about your reserve, as you know, your group has a leader in Cusco, who is the responsible of organizing for you all about your arrival our hotel, and this person forgot to reserve a room for you, he just made the reserve rooms for the rest of group, that was the reason for change of room, about animals (dogs and turkeys), any of our guests heard them never, if so, we can´t silence our neighbor dogs, finally, we have the service of heater in the rooms, but, the rate that you and group paid was very special, and this one did not consider heater in the rooms.
