“Best museum in cusco”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

Real enjoyed this museum only small but amongst other things it's got the strange shaped heads formed in ancient times with the family binding the heads of the new born children to creat the long shapes heads which was at a time associated with a space men connection
they got bodies ancient bodies in jars lot strange but very intersting

See the elongated skulls was one inclrivel experience.
If possible, visit the museum with a guide, it will explain the best parts of the museum.

“interesting infos on skull surgery”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

This small underground museum is included in Boleto Turistico contrary to Coricancha, the Sun temple which is not.
Nothing extraordinary though I found the information on trepanation and skull deformation processes quite interesting. A short visit might be worthwhile.

“Ok”
Reviewed 30 May 2014

Interesting, but after having been to Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, and Pisaq, it seemed bland. Though lovely in its own right, it would have been better to start here, rather than finish here.

“Another Inka Museum...”
Reviewed 25 May 2014

Just an average museum on Inka history with nothing particularly exciting. The highlight is the grounds below Qoricancha.
