They don't tell you, but in the rear of the building there is constant construction, audible everywhere, and it does not look like it is going to stop any time soon! I checked in at night so I was not aware until bright and early the next morning. When my travel buddy went to the front desk to complain, their response was "what construction?". IT'S LOUD AND OBVIOUS! and that statement is even more insulting when you haven't slept.

We are very much enjoying our stay in this hotel. We have been here for about a month while studying Spanish (as students at Wiracocha Spanish School, we receive a significant discount) and are planning on staying longer in Cusco partly because of our satisfaction with the hotel and its staff. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. We have heat and hot water not only in the shower but also in the bathroom sink. The rooms are modern, clean and very comfortable. There are a wide variety of options for breakfast, including fresh fruit, juices, yogurt, eggs and fresh buns from nearby bakery. The hotel is located within an easy 10-15 min. walk from the centre of town.

Room Tip: ask for rooms with heating

The hotel is very pleasant. It is not very luxurious but clean and with hot water all the time. The staff is VERY helpful and kind. There is a complimentary airport pick-up (on which you can rely). The location is very good - just 5-10 min walking distance from all main attractions (there are many hotels in the main square itself but most in quite old buildings, while Golden Inca is in a new one). I was travelling alone and was my first time in Cusco so I was very concern on the hotel I will choose but dare to say that was very happy with this choice. Best way to describe it is "value for money".

Room Tip: I think the rooms on the higher floors are better. Ask the receptions desk for a good room, they wil...

Where to begin. There is construction all around the hotel that begins at 6am. It felt like the construction workers were in the actual room with us. The walls had cracks and were filthy. It is not within walking distance to anything. Basically, everything that you're not looking for in a hotel.

The hotel is fine. Staff are very friendly, most rooms are v good, but I did see some that were a lower standard (e.g. those by reception). Rooms are very very clean, good hot water.
Hotel is a 10 minute walk from town, which is poor for Cusco, there are many other options right in the town centre for the same money or even less, I would highly recommend to take a more central option to be closer to the main attractions & restaurants.
Breakfast is quite ok, a few flies around. Tea making facilities available all day, coffee isn't great.

I stayed at hotel golden inca for two weeks in september. For me it was perfect I stayed in a single room, the bed was as perfect as my own bed at home,it was confortable and I slept better than i have in a long time. The staff was just like a family. One day i didn't feel too well and much to my surprise they checked to make sure i was all right,The receptionist was ready to call for a doctor if i needed one.The morning breakfast was served by a very attentive and friendly staff. The hotel it's about a 10 minutes walk from the center of town and all its excitement.the staff are ready with directions and advise on restaurants.
I was amazed at the excellent service at this hotel, which is way above the standars of hotel service in The United States. I RECOMMEND IT!!!
