Staff is great and trustworthy, wi-fi is dependable, and provides extras that are not typical of a smaller hotel/hostel.

Hot water available for tea all the time, multiple tea options including options to help with altitude adjustment. Morning breakfasts with a great view of Cuzco.

Safe luggage storage while away for Machu Picchu. Also kept my personal belongings in locked safe.

As a traveler to over 40 countries for business and pleasure this is one of the nicer places I have visited. Beds are a bit hard but this is what I find typical in Central and South America and definitely in the Caribbean islands. I had difficulty with the hot water but think that was just me. Once I ask how to cool the hot down, it worked no problem.

I returned after my Macchu Picchu trek for the rest of my Cuzco stay!

The rooms were nice and breakfast was great - the views from the terrace are fantastic. However, be aware of a few things. Out of the six showers we had there, only two were good. Hot water would suddenly run out or it did not come, and once, we even ran out of water altogether (including from the sink). Had to wait like 10 min in the cold and my wife complained before it returned - we suspect they were doing laundry or something which sucked all the water away. Location wise - It's at the top of the hill, so it's not as convenient and it's a bit of a hike from the city. Unlike some other hostels, they insisted we pay before we left for our inca trail, and then when we came back for our bags, they lost their records for us having paid. It took another 15 min or so before it was resolved and they relocated our payment receipt. For the amount we paid, we would have expected better service.

Stayed here as a couple in early September for several days.

The service was great: they arranged cabs to the bus station for us, stored our large packs when we went to Machu Picchu on an overnight trip, and made us an early breakfast when we had to leave at 630am.

The breakfast is light, but good and is served in a room with a great view.

Our room was clean, bright, and simple- great value for what you get. Highly recommend.

This hotel was my first stop before heading to MACHUPICHU .I was received by the desk clerk Marizza who was very polite and helpful.
LOCATION: This hotel Is walkable but not exactly near the town center15-20min.Since the road to the center/plaza armas is downhill, it's easier to walk down but, one has to consider taking a taxi on returning to this hotel.Note: air is thin in Cuzco.
HOtel amenities
Wifi and breakfast .i like their fresh juice and coffee.:

We spent two days at the Mirador de Santa Ana after our hike to Machu Picchu. We arrived late, dirty, and tired. The staff could not have been more helpful. After check in, a staff member even went out for bottled water for us. My wife and I gravitate to hotels with a local flavor. This hotel is just the place! The staff could not be more accommodating. They assisted us with kindness and professionalism...English speaking staff were always available. The hotel itself is up on the hill from Cusco, within walking distance to Plaza de Armas, but only 4-6 soles by taxi. Do not be put off by the entrance...once inside, you will find yourself in a pleasant and secure courtyard where the well cared for hotel is located.

Our room was comfortable, clean, and well appointed, but with no frills...just as we like. We would rather spend our money on having a good time rather than on a room that we are in only to sleep at night.

A light breakfast is provided on the top floor of the hotel...coffee, juice, breads, yogurt, etc. The view of Cusco from the breakfast area is excellent.

If you want clean comfort and value, with a staff that goes out of their way to make you feel at home, then please consider this unique hotel.

Room Tip: This is a quiet hotel, in general, so all rooms will provide a good nights sleep.
