This Hoel is a bit off the main square.
When we (4) arrived the hotel had only 6 guests. It looks nice but the staff is uninterested in you as a guest.
I asked the first night for an extra blanket and was told that I had to wait until the next day. The next day our tour guide asked for a heater for our room. Even though we got promised a heater we did not have one when we came home at night.
In one of the bedrooms trash bin we found Tampon rapper and hair from the guests before us.
For breakfast we got old bread and the fruit looked like from the day before. No cold milk for the cereal .......
We used the safe and when we wanted to open it did not work. The guy at the reception told us to wait until the next day us he did not know how to open it. Well I asked for the key and opened it myself!
This might be a cheap place for 1 night but I can't recommend it!
I would like to mention here Francisca, the masseuse, the only smiling, happy face at this place!

The room was very spacious, and the water for showering is heated with solar energy. Also, they were very accomodating, as my mother, who can not climb steps, was given a room on the first floor. We were very thankful for that. The only thing is that you need to go and have your buffet breakfast before 7:30 am, otherwise, you might not have too many choices.

One of the worst experience, the sheets, the pillow and all thebed clothes were dirty, with several hairs, not only in one bed, or one room... Also found a rock on the breakfast, be aware that pebblels cereal could include a real one.... Price is cheap, but rooms that way should be cheaper....

Stayed here with a group. Rooms are large and comfortable enough. Nice atrium and interior space, no bar, and the kitchen is not really great for large groups. Breakfast buffet was just very basic. We stayed in May, and temperatures were quite cold. Rooms are unheated, but they will give you a portable electric heater for a nominal charge. You can spend a lot of money these days on name-brand hotels in Cusco. This is a great option if you don't need pampering and want to spend your money elsewhere, like some of the fine restaurants that are available.

La Posada de Atahualpa in Cuzco was a nice surprise. The place is located quite centrally without the noise of downtown. The hotel is modest but extremely clean. The staff is very nice and welcoming. They all met our requests with a genuine smile.
The restaurant has great food for a great price. The breakfast was always served on time and had a variety to choose from.

The staff made sure there was always coca tea available to help out with the altitude adjustment.

It was nice to see Cesar, the owner, walk around the property to make sure everything was up to standard.

The massages are awesome and worth every penny.

Room tip: First and second floor rooms give you better internet reception.
