Top property offering outstanding service and people. Narrow street in
front with heavy traffic can make access challanging. Staff more than
makes up for any inconviences that may be encountered and those are
few and far between.

Room Tip: Older rooms in front of Cusco property are a little noisy.

We stayed here twice, on our bespoke tour around Peru, both times for 2 nights. On our first stay we had a room on the Ground Floor away from the main Courtyard. This room was very nice with nice bathroom, plenty of space, and a very comfortable large bed.
On our second stay we had an "upgrade" to the first floor overlooking the main courtyard which is a hub of activity. An "upgrade" it was not, and is the reason I have given this hotel four stars instead of five. This room was noisy and both my wife and I did not have a good nights sleep. After complaining twice we were eventually moved to a room facing away from the Courtyard. As a piece of advise to travellers avoid the rooms on the first floor around the main Courtyard which is the main reception and restaurant area, and therefore tends to be very noisy. Wifi was intermittent, some times faster than others but generally worked and was free.
Everything else about the hotel was good though. We ate at the main restaurant several times and the food was always very good. On arrival at the hotel we were offered cocoa tea and this was available all the time at no extra cost
The breakfast was very good, with a selection of hot meals, which varied each day but included eggs, bacon, potato dishes, sausages, local dishes, cereals, pastries, fruit and yogurts.
The Hotel is ideally located to see Cusco and it is less than a 10 minute walk to the main square
All in all this is a really nice hotel, just avoid the room s mentioned.
A tip for anyone who does fell the effects of altitude sickness, go to the local pharmacy and ask for "sorchi" pills, these worked really quickly on myself and a few other people who had some of the symptoms. Oxygen is available at the hotel though we did not need it.

Room Tip: Avoid the rooms around the main courtyard, they are noisy as a result of the restaurant and this bei...

This hotel is in a great location, but the walls are paper thin and like the Lima Novotel, you get "single" beds. I could not sleep at night with the street noise and this started again early morning. In the afternoon, I wanted to nap, but there was construction banging. Try another place.

Room Tip: Maybe a high floor away from the street would work, but the walls are still too thin.

We had 2 stays in cusco, both were a great experience. The rooms were lovely and clean, and staff very helpful.. We had to have some oxygen one morning, and it arrived promptly. The meals were lovely, great breakfast. The location was nice and central and safe. Our cup of cocoa tea on arrival was refreshing.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the end of the corridors had better views.

This excellent hotel lets itself down in my view due to its awful wifi. The only time of day it is anything like quick enough is 06:00 to 07:00. If you try at anytime in the afternoon or evening you could boil a kettle before you get any response. Otherwise, a lovely hotel.

Room Tip: Colonial rooms are the best.

Our Colonial Room was large with a super shower, and a bath too. But our night's rest was disturbed at around 4:30am by a group gathering to leave in the atrium below the balcony. Our traveling companions anticipated this problem on arrival and asked for a down-grade to one of the quieter modern rooms at the back of the hotel. Other than that, the hotel is very close to the city centre and a short walk to the main square, sights and museums

Room Tip: Most of the Colonial Rooms are located around the balcony to the atrium which serves as a reception...
