This hotel offers spacious rooms and great bathrooms. The location is great. Next door there is a laundry service and a market across the street. The free breakfast is average. The free internet is below average. However, my stay was very comfortable. There is abundant shopping and the street food is superb.

We stayed in Cusco for three nights at this hotel, and we would of moved if there wasn't a strike going on. The hotel on multiple occasions smelled like a sewer line had broken. The staff was pleasant but they did not make up for the awful smell that made you want to throw up! There is no court yard at this hotel, like many of the other hotels in Cusco. The rooms were not somewhere you would want to go back to during the day to rest...the bathrooms lighting is like being in a mental hospital!

The beds you could feel the springs, its time for the hotel to invest in itself.

Cusco sits at 11,000+ feet of elevation, so any exertion takes your breath away. This hotel does not have an elevator so you can barely breathe when you get to your room. The rooms are all quite different, you can have tiny and quiet or good sized and lots of traffic noise. The carpets are worn and the hotel needs to be completely re-done. The staff at the desk are no help at all, barely speak English. It is located a block from the plaza and cathedral which is the only reason to stay here. Spend more time at the Sonesta in Sacred Valley, which has excellent service, lovely grounds and big wonderful rooms. Plus you are half way to Machu Picchu from there.

I loved this hotel. The location was awesome! The staff were so friendly. Even brought me a cup of coco tea while i was checking in. I'm used to dumpy youth hostels so this was a suprise to me. I was very happy to stay here before and after my inca trek!

I would definetly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located right in the city centre and very close to the Plaza de Armas, and therefore this place serves as the perfect base from which to conveniently explore Cusco. We stayed two nights here. The room we had was a bit on the small side though, but it was clean. All in all, the hotel facilities are quite basic and therefore I'd rate them as average, but because of the location, it is still worth staying here. We stayed here before doing the popular Inka Trail, and we thus had to leave our main luggage at the hotel during this time but this wasn't a problem at all. The staff is very nice and helpful and looked after our luggage until we got back. The restaurant however is not very impressive, quite small and lacking in atmosphere. This is not really a problem though because Cusco has many great places to eat. The hotel restaurant staff are however very nice and the breakfast buffet was good enough for us in the morning. If you are not planning to spend a lot of time in the hotel and you will rather be out and about in Cusco, then this hotel is a very good choice and I'd recommend it!

We stayed here 3 nights. The staff was super nice, super helpful. The breakfast in the morning is tasty and fresh and you'll find everything you need to energize you for the day. The hotel is very clean, the beds are super comfortable. We had a backside room, as opposed to being on the street, and it was very quiet most of the time. Yet the one thing I can recommend is ear plugs or a white noise machine: people who get up to leave for Machu Pichu begin their goings at 5:00 a.m. and it never ceases to amaze me how inconsiderate other guests often are. They will talk and close their doors loudly and you will be disturbed unless you have something to drown the noise or you are a heavy sleeper.
