“Beautiful cathedral”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

Huge cathedral with 11 other chapels. 2nd largest catholic cathedral in South America?! Went with a tour, but wish id gone alone. Paid 25 sol for entry, then only spent 30 mins there. If you're going to pay that much, you need to stay longer to marvel at the amazing cathedral.

“Perhaps the most impressive cathedral outside Rome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

Do not miss this if you visit Cusco. It is beyond any cathedral outside of Rome that I've visited. The size, the detail and the paintings. Don't miss the Last Supper. The face closest to you is the painter. Apparently he wasn't an enthusiastic catholic. Look at his expression.

“Another must see when in Cusco.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2014 via mobile

One of the beautiful sights while strolling around Plaza de Armas. A grand old cathedral with all the charm and mystery that you would imagine. The smell of incense. The stained glass. The history. If those walls could talk. Definitely worth your time to take a moment to meditate on its beauty and serenity, at least from the outside if not interested in a tour of the inside.
