A classic building with thick walls, wooden doors, stone steps, character and a very pleasant courtyard with a bubbling fountain and fresh flowers on all the tables. Ninos is within easy walking distance to all Cusco attractions. The hotel features a small intimate restaurant, with service in the courtyard if you wish, that features a wood burning fireplace that takes the chill off the cool, high elevation evenings. Food selection is adequate and a great place to "stay in" for a lite dinner after walking at 11,000 feet plus all day.
The rooms are plain, but comfortable and sleeping in the tightly made bed was a dream after a tiring day.
The only drawback is the lighting in the evening hours. The old structure has a variety of slight floor elevation changes, and the "step-offs" are not well lighted in the public areas.More
