We stayed here for 3 nights prior to departing for the Inca Trail and 1 night upon returning. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The location is great! It is only a short walk from most Cusco attractions and there is a bigger grocery store right across the street. The hotel itself has a lot of charm. The courtyard is nice and large and very aesthetically pleasing. We stayed in two different rooms while we were there, and they were both unique, clean, and charming. The hotel restaurant is very good as well!! We ate there several times and preferred it to many of the very expensive, highly rated restaurants in town. Laundry service was good and prompt. They were able to store valuables in a safe and our luggage while we were on the inca trail. The prices were VERY reasonable, and what’s more: this place is a school committed to educating local children! Definitely stay here!!

My husband and I have recently returned from a 4 month backpacking trip around South America and can honestly stay Nino's was one of the best places we stayed. The hotel is beautifully presented and has a wonderful boutique hotel feel. The rooms are comfortable and gorgeously decorated and the hotel courtyard is a peaceful and lovely place to relax. Oh and the showers were someof the best hot showers we had on our entire trip! The restaurant is fantastic too - we thoroughly enjoyed every one of our meals at Nino's from granola for breakfast, to salmon linguini and steak. This may not be the cheapest place to stay in Cusco, but we thought it still offered excellent value for money and the little extra it may cost in comparison to other places is well worth it.

Though I assume my review is not all that important after 700+ others. However it must be said that it is a very pretty hotel, very tastefull decoration and friendly staff.
You must visit their children project!
The only thing I would change would perhaps be the location, which is a tiny bit further (and uphill) from where most things are.

Go on the school tour, see what's being accomplished with your hotel fee, amazing.
loved the close walk to home cooking and the naibourhood, there was lots of history to the area, plus it really wasn't a tourist trap . very down to earth, diffinitly would return to the same gps location.

Room Tip: All very similar, love the court yard, great place to relax and have coffee or lunch

If you're looking for a great value hotel with a lot of romantic rustic charm, then you'll come to the right place with Ninos on calle Melloc.

My plans for Cuzco were to stay here a couple of nights to acclimatise to the altitude before hiking on the Inca trail. After the trail I had planned to book in a slightly larger / commercial, and what I thought would be luxurious, hotel. But after a couple of first nights in Hotel Ninos (and after visiting the second hotel) I decided to cancel my "luxurious" hotel to stay in Ninos after our hike.

The room was lovely and clean, the staff were happy, calm and helpful, the courtyard was beautiful both day and night and the food and menu were perfect. Try the breakfast... although not free with your room the breakfast is much better and fresher than what you would get free from another hotel. Plus, when a room with a private bathroom is $55 you don't mind paying $5 for a large fresh tasty breakfast served in a tranquil courtyard.

Ninos doesn't offer a free transfer, but if you book a taxi through them it'll will definitely be at a discount price.

Although we spent a lot of time being tourists in Cuzco, we very much enjoyed coming back to Ninos to relax. We tasted food in some fo the best small and large restuarants, but always loved coming to dine in Ninos own rustic restaurant. The fireplace, happy ambience and simple menu was a very welcoming treat!

The courtyard can be a little loud sometimes when Ninos has guests who are unaware of their own booming voices, but if you're lucky to stay when other guests are also interested in a serene environment then you'll have an excellent stay!

Stay here if you like value, great location, nice hosts, good fresh menus, romance and simple rustic charm!

Room Tip: Choose a 1st floor room with a private bathroom (preferably not facing the main road). Cost around $55 a night.
