Went with wife as our 9-month anniversary. Loved the wi-fi, the cleanliness, the coca leaf tea (it's available nearly all the time in the reception lobby) and the homely free breakfast. Didn't love the altitude (well my wife did not). The location is superb for wandering about town and it's close to most of the in-town attractions. The courtyard is beautiful, day and night! You won't be disappointed!

What a great place! The staff was always very helpful, especially Karina. She met us at the airport and helped us plan our (awesome) weekend tours and activities. Without her help we would not have had such a great time!

The hotel itself is in a great location, within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas and many restaurants. The rooms were clean and cozy. Oh, and the showers! Wonderful! They had better water pressure than my apartment!

Breakfast is included and delicious.

Overall highly recommended!

What a great place to stay! It was recommended by our tour operator, and I am so pleased that I asked them for a rec! The room was nice, clean and comfortable. There was a cute outdoor sitting area as well. Breakfast was fantastic - eggs made fresh, delicious fresh fruits and fruit juices were highlights for me. Front desk staff was so helpful, answering all of our questions, helping us with directions and storing our bags while we went trekking. Also the hotel is in a great location. Very easy to get places by walking, and the one time we wanted a taxi there was one right outside waiting. I can't think of a single negative to say about this hotel, we had a great stay!! :)

Good location, staff was *very* helpful. Loved access to computer. Room had 220 and 110 option for one outlet. Had fridge available in room, with snacks available for purchase. The courtyard is beautiful, as is the dining area. Nice variety for breakfast, you can also ask for eggs. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is a wonderful find in an enchanting city with atmostphere all over the place...Cobblestone streets mark Cusco itself, and the hotel boasts multiple outdoor sitting areas and courtyards outside of rooms, a rooftop terrace that overlooks the city, fabulous staff that are attentive and helpful, authentic Incan masonry doorway, plants, fountains, 24 hour coca tea in the lobby. We stayed in the suite, which was huge and beautiful with an extra room and one of those little European style balconies onto the side street. If you do get the suite, there is a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the floor has some special set up where the tiles in the floor are heated during the night...Had small issues with hot water one morning but staff fixed it quickly. And the heater was programmed to only work at night but they had a very heavy comfortor on the bed and it was warm and snuggly under the covers. Right across the street is a great restaurant "The Blue Alpaca"...great tasting food, super nice waiter, and we got to practice our Spanglish. This is a fantastic property within walking distance of the Plaza de las Armas and at least half a dozen other museums...don't miss the Templo del Sol. And talk about cleanliness of the room...the bed smelled like fresh linen just out of the dryer. Loved this place and hope to return.

Room Tip: #217 is the suite (only suite on the property) and at just $200 (including breakfast and airport pic...

My wife and I stayed there both before Machu Picchu and afterward.
Staff friendly and quick to help. Much needed laundry service was done promptly despite short notice and strange times. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing.
Stored luggage and had it in room upon our return.

How lucky were we that they put us in the room looking over both courtyards! Beautiful hotel, wonderful breakfast, comfortable beds. Close to the main square and all the ruins we wanted to go see. Three of us in the room, three beds - still tons of space, felt like we were in a suite and it was just one room. The courtyards are beautiful and there is even a 3rd level balcony to sit out and enjoy the view.

Room Tip: The window in our room were almost floor to ceiling - it was the center of the courtyards.
