I stayed in this hotel on two occasions while living in Peru. Once over New year and on another occasion in March this year.

It's location means it's quite which in Cusco is rare as it's a beautiful but noisy Peruvian city. The hotel is set in several beautiful court yards and the rooms while not flashy are extremely comfortable.

The breakfast is tremendous for Peru and is included in the price.

I would definitely stay here if I return to Cusco again.

We stayed at Rumi for five nights (2 before hike and 3 nights after) before and after our hike in the valley and this was one of the nicest hotel at in Cusco. The staff are so very professional and friendly, the management is wonderful and the rooms are very clean and spacious enough with a charming views over a lovely internal courtyard, with wider views out over the roof tops of Cusco itself. Nice western-style bathroom facilities and plentiful hot water. The breakfasts are very good with variety of food. variety of hot drink (tea) are available 24 hours. Dinning room opens at 5a.m. for breakfast, but they prepared breakfast for us on the morning of hike which was 4 a.m. The hotel is centrally located with walking access to all major Cusco must see attractions. any request that we had from desk, it was fulfilled right away. if we leaved any belonging at the front desk, it was delivered to our room. We were truly able to relax and enjoy what was our best trip in Cuzco and Peru!
Thank you Rumi Puku staff and management

Great location, very nice room and helpful staff. Just far enough from downtown so you don't have to deal with the noise.
The room was perfect for 4 people, plenty of room. Extremely happy with the service

My wife and I stayed here for a week and just loved the place. It was quiet and the rooms were clean. The staff let us keep our bags there while we hiked on the Inca trail and the hotel is walking distance from most everything. I would most definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Get a room in the back. They are much quieter.

Having stayed in budget hotels and hostels for 2 1/2 months we decided to treat ourselves but our money would have been better spent elsewhere. We had trouble with this hotel from the start. The reception staff are surly and unhelpful, they forget that you are paying quite a lot of money to stay and that some element of service would be nice. When we emailed to confirm our booking 2 weeks in advance as requested they said they didn’t have a booking and didnt have any space and when we stated we had booked months in advance they denied it, on provision of our booking reference they managed to locate us. With these troubles you would have thought they would be able to remember our booking on our return from 5 days in the sacred valley, especially as we had left luggage with them, but again they could not find us and had all but 2 rooms booked so despite having a booking and a booking reference (which they took with bad grace) we were lucky(!) to get a room. They promise heating in the rooms but it is not turned on and the rooms themselves are badly designed with very little room to place luggage and move around. The only good thing is the breakfast but with so many good hotels in Cusco I would definitely look elsewhere.

Rustic, cosy hotel with spa (that we unfortunately didn’t try out), wifi, free computers, good rooms, good beds, good bathroom and above all; all over the place lovely patio’s with fountains. A hotel where you feel at home. Situated between the central plaza’s and the trendy San Blas hill. Near to most of the Cusco restaurants and yet at the end of a quiet street. Very good but not the best breakfast’s we had (make sure that you’re not the last one to arrive because not everything gets replenished). Carina who will arrange all your trips up to the smallest details is perfect and adorable. Staff always helpfull and professional. The girl with the glasses (sorry forgot your name) had the nicest smile of Peru. We stayed 6 nights and got an upgrade and a far more spatious and quiet room without discussion. Almost perfect Hotel. (Only small minor point, in the late afternoon and evening when temperature drops very quickly, we did not manage to get our room warm enough.)

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in our 7 day tour of Peru and we loved it!! The hotel is so nice it is really well presented and decorated, the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good also with a few different options to choose from.
Also the location is very good across the road there is a fantastic little family run restaurant called "Dino's pizzeria" where they cook great meals. Check them out
Also they have a laundry shop just 50M down the road for cheap
And the markets are Aprox 5-6 blocks walk downhill where you get the best prices in Peru. Cheaper than Lima and other places
We would definitely recommend his hotel!
