Our clean and modern room had a great view down Avenida Del Sol. We were not bothered by the noise outside but it is a busy city that is never quiet. The restaurant had a balcony with an amazing view of the Plaza de Armas where there were festivals nearly everyday we were there. A fantastic spot. There is always free coca tea in the reception area and if you are strugglng with altitude sickness they have oxygen as well. The staff were helpful but not many spoke good English. The small roof terrace has lovely views. Our only problem with the hotel was that we were always really cold even though we had our heater on day and night. The restaurant doors were left open most of the evening which made it very uncomfortably cold to eat there and consequently the lovely restaurant was empty all night. The staff wore ther coats all evening in the restaurant, we thought it very strange.
