We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights during our South American Tour. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was quite and the breakfast reasonable. The electrics were a bit flaky but that's not unusual for this part or the world.

The hotel was excellent - fantastic location (easy walking distance of many places), rooms had everything you needed and were warm at night with plenty hot water. Great value for money, would recommend.

The hotel is well situated, very close to Plaza de Armes. The staff onsite were very friendly and very helpful. Hot water was readily available in the showers. Rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. It was a bit cold in the rooms at night but there were portable heaters provided in each room. Ask for a quiet room if u are sensitive to noise as you may be able to hear what goes on outside and along the corridors. Highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with twin bed rooms and breakfast at a very affordable price.
Interior design feels local and genuine but is neat and tidy.
Would definitely live here again for another visit in Cusco.
Somewhat noisy when other guests are in the common area (breakfast starts early).

My girlfriend and I spent three nights at Los Apus while in Cusco, and we really enjoyed our stay. After spending two nights in a rather terrible hotel that our guide book listed, I searched trip advisor for a highly rated but moderately priced hotel. After finding Los Apus as a candidate I walked to the hotel in the San Blas area (about 5 minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas). Luckily the hotel had availabilty for the 3 additional nights that we would be staying in Cusco after and between our trips to Machu Picchu and Puerto Maldonado.

The staff was very helpful at every turn with booking tours and taxis to the airport/train station, the included breakfast was delicious and plentiful (bread, meats, cheeses, eggs, bacon/sausage, whole fruits, fruit salad, yogurt, juices, coffee/tea), the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the WiFi was reliable, they provided additional space heaters in every room in addition to the radiators. We only had a few minutes to check out the rooftop terrace, but it offered great views. If you are booking a ¨matrimonial¨ room (queen size bed, try to get room 301 (i think), it has a cool little balcony that overlooks the nearby buildings.

We didn´t book in advance, and ended up paying $75.90 per night...well worth it in my opinion.
