“Charming hotel in good location but rooms vary in noise level.”
Reviewed 28 August 2014 via mobile

This hotel divided opinion in our small tour group. The location, public areas and breakfast were agreed as being good but depending on which rooms people got some members of the group found it very noisy and hard to sleep. My room was on the first floor above reception and the lobby where breakfast is served when the hotel is quieter. Preparation for breakfast started at about 5am and it certainly was audible from the room although it didn't stop me drifting back off. One room was closer to the breakfast area and was very noisy, leading to a request to move.

The hotel is not far from the central square where numerous museums, restaurants etc can be found and there aren't too many stairs to be encountered on the way back- by Cusco standards that is.

Traveled with a friend to Peru this Summer. We used Cusco as our base and stayed in Los Apus for several days. The staff was extremely helpful and always attentive to our needs. They have free storage as well as free pick-up and drop-off from the airport. The hotel is situated in a good location and was just a several minute walk away from the Plaza de Armas and other key locations in Cusco. The rooms on the 2nd floor were nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay at Los Apus again when visiting Cusco.

Room Tip: 2nd floor rooms we stayed on were nice. 4th floor room (attic) was small and a trek to get to.

After spending a night at a truly terrible hostel in Cuzco, my friend and I went out looking for hotels with availability and we were very glad we found this place. The room (a double) was great, with a nice bathroom. The room was clean and well-decorated. The hotel is a short walk from the main plaza so is in quite convenient location.

The staff was helpful when asked a question, but often didn't volunteer info without being asked. The guy who serves breakfast is great and even came running up the stairs to carry our luggage when he saw us bringing it down during breakfast.

I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Breakfast was very good, but when some items ran out, they didn't refill them so the later breakfast crowd had fewer options.

The biggest drawback for me was the noise. Not only could we hear people in the breakfast room early in the morning, but there was quite a bit of beeping from what sounded like trucks backing up that started very very early in the morning. However, I think the noise from outdoors is unavoidable and I suspect other hotels that are off the main plaza have the same issues.

Well located with some charm for the price. Sullen staff (except for the breakfast guy) who took their time buzzing you in or out. In case of fire you'd have to jump out a window, there is no button to buzz yourself out. Rooms 101-103 and 201-204 ring the lobby which is where breakfast is served starting at 5am. The noise is unbelievable.

The Hotel is a great place to discover Cusco and the area as it is central and quite.
Rooms are big and very clean.
The staff is very helpful and efficient
Wifi works quick and easy
Breakfast is served either in the main Patio or on the very nice roof terrace overlooking Cusco's roof-landscape.
