“Best meal in Cusco”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 June 2014

My wife and I stumbled across this small, unassuming restaurant while walking between Plaza de Armas and our hotel. It is one of the only restaurants on a poorly lit block, and the kitchen and limited seating basically share the same space. We were the only patrons for dinner, and opted for the set menus. We found the value to be the best in our several days in Cusco, and I would certainly dine here again. We were extremely happy with the menu, which offers traditional Peruvian food served in a pleasing manner. Dishes are cooked to order basically in front of you, and served as they're prepared. The service is also very friendly.

“Nice little restaurant, very authentic peruvian cuisine!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 June 2014

A little bit away from the most touristic places in Cusco, such as the plaza de armas where you can find the most expensive restaurants. It's worth to go to "Quinoa". The restaurant is small, simple, but the food is very tipical, clean and very good.
The relation quality/price is excellent.

“Quiona is DEFINETELY OPEN!! ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2014 via mobile

We went to Quiona for lunch today (2pm). Antionette (I think her name is) was a lovely lady greeted us at the door. The restaurant is small and the kitchen is within the room.
Each meal is cooked one at a time so it was fine for my husband & I.
The food was delicious and cooked with love! We felt very nourished after eating it.
I think life comes first for them so maybe it's sometimes closed?
It's opened each day 12pm midday until around 5pm and re-opens about 7pm- 9pm. Worth trying, we enjoyed our meals.

“Restaurant is permanently closed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 June 2014

Just tried to go to Quinoa for dinner on May 30, 2014 with my husband and some new friends we made on the Inca Trail. Sadly, the restaurant was CLOSED and from the looks of it, permanently. I picked the place based on TripAdvisor reviews but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the food. My 4-star rating is given only so the restaurant keeps its average rating (in case I was wrong about the permanent closing).

“A Tiny Gem in San Blas, Cusco, Peru”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 June 2014

Quinoa is located in hilly historical San Blas in Cusco. The tiny restaurant has three tables and is operated by two people with limited kitchen facility. They do one dish at a time, you cannot be in a hurry eating at Quinoa! We were there on our first night in Cusco, we had quinoa soup, main course, and a small dessert for 20 S/. per person, an excellent deal. The food was excellent. The menu changes every day, I believe. If you want to try some local homemade food in Cusco, Quinoa is the place to go.
