This is a cozy little restaurant just off the Plaza run by two charming guys from Barcelona. There is always a good selection of Spanish style tapas made with local ingredients giving a Peruvian flair to everything. As is typical in many tapas restaurants some of the food is prepared and displayed behind the counter and then cooked as needed when ordered. They have a menu each day which is great if you are eating in a larger group as you can sample a great range of dishes and they usually recommend 1-2 menus less than the number of people in your group making it great value. They have a good selection of wines to accompany the dishes. We have eaten here 4 times and it has been busy each time creating a lively atmosphere. Our favorite dishes are the patatas bravas which come with an excellent aioli and brava sauce, the catalan bread (bread with fresh tomato puree, garlic and olive oil), the garlic shrimp, chorizo and the tortilla.
We will definitely be going back!
