We stayed totally 3 nights in a big 6-person room. The host was friendly but sometimes we cannot find anyone in the reception. In the afternoon the host will prepare breakfast ingredient for the second morning in the room, eggs, yogurt, milk, bread, and a basket of fruit so that you can have your own favorite breakfast second day. The patio is quite and beautiful. About location, it's about 7-minute walk to plaza de armas. Since it's only one way in la recoleta street, sometimes it's difficult to get off from car.

The location is perfect - just 5 minute walk to the main Plaza des Armas, but on a nice quiet street. The reception staff are lovely. The night porter Agustin is brilliant for those early morning flights or day trips (but have a couple of words in Spanish at the ready).

Breakfast in your fridge every evening ready for the next day - eggs, bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, and milk. There's also a huge supply of fruit to eat or to use in the juicer!

This is a great place to rest. It's in a small street close to Cusco's downtown so de you can walk to many restaurants, shops, etc. The staff is people from the place, not the typical "professional hotel". They are really kind and friendly.

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights (altitude adjustment !) prior to our 5 day Inca Trail trek.. It was centrally located, on a reasonably quiet street and had most of the required facilities. Breakfast (placed in your room/fridge) each day was included. Shower was satisfactory, unlike many others we encountered in South America. the outdoor areas were lovely, with pleasant gardens and the resident galahs (?) to add to the occasion ! WiFi was satisfactory. An unusual requirement I thought was payment in full on check in ! Still, the host was helpful and friendly, although he had little English.

I did think the tariff was a little expensive, however, for the location.

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights before and 1 night after our Inca Trail trek. The hotel stored our bags during the trek. The loft featured a double bed in a private room, 3 single beds in a loft, and a large kitchen/den family room. Staff speaks Spanish only, but is very friendly and eager to please. They called us a taxi to the airport when we left. The location is central for Cusco, although the roadway is indeed narrow. (Be ready to jump out of your taxi quickly.) Highly recommended.
