The hotel was a little noisy, but that may have been the time of year. We were in Cusco during Corpus Christi and the holiday following. There were a lot of people in the city. Rooms were comfortable. Hot water was tricky to figure out in our room. Breakfast was very delicious. The staff very friendly and helpful. Be prepared for walking many hills!

Room Tip: Good location and good service

The San Blas area of Cusco has a bohemian vibe and the Casa San Blas is tucked away at the edge, offering a wonderful setting and location for your stay in Cusco. Sitting a few blocks "up the hill" from the city center, the San Blas rooms are extremely clean, very nicely appointed and the boutique hotel has everything you will need. Very nice breakfast service, good internet available and computers to use if you wish, along with acaring staff made the 3 night stay excellent. I'd say it was a bit on the upscale side but certainly not a bank breaker. Bathrooms were spacious with great showers. We would recommend this property for travelers of any age and any number.

I stayed in 2 different rooms at the hotel during my travels and while they were nice rooms, there are no windows looking outside. The windows look into small atrium areas that look at a wall - no view. The only rooms with windows with a view are the suites (I asked). I have a small issue with claustraphobia, so wasn't ideal for me. They offered to upgrade me to a suite for the 2nd stay, but it didn't happen.

The location was great and fairly quiet (my first room was #101 right off of reception, which did have some noise from the staff and other guests). It is located between the San Blas Plaza and the Plaza de Armas.

The bar/restaurant wasn't open at night which would have been nice to get a nightcap at.

This review is for the boutique hotel. Charming hotel with rustic charm and decorated with local weavings. The location is great, a 3 minute walk to Jacks Cafe and a 5 minute walk to plaza de armas. Staff were helpful and they held my luggage while I did the trail.breakfast buffet was included, it wasn't a large selection but quality wise it was good. I would stay here again as it was reasonably priced and great location.

Someone spent a fortune to renovate this boutique hotel, and it shows. Hidden down a small cul de sac on the hill overlooking the central plaza, this hotel deserves your attention. Decorated with indigenous artwork, textiles and other attributes, we stayed but a single night. By good fortune, our tour agent, Kuoda Tours, had booked us into an upper level suite, with a loft sporting a view of the city below. Some "noise" during the day, as the hotel is apparently located adjacent to a Music school, but no music at night. Free internet for those of you with OCD, and a nice breakfast. A nice surprise, all in all.

Our experience with San Blas was outstanding.

Rosselin and the San Blas team met our every need - and we had some time/travel difficulties to overcome. At each step, the answer was yes.. we can help you with that. And they did.

Not only that, but the location, the price and the rooms were fabulous, too.

Loved it - Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Just be clear and honest about your needs

We had one of the rooms at the top of the hotel, and ours was immaculately clean and comfortable, with a fabulous view of the city. The staff spoke good English, but were willing for me to try my Spanish. They were welcoming and friendly, and they went away beyond the call of duty to be helpful. They left a birthday cake in the room for my husband, when they found out it was his birthday. They helped when we had something stolen on the street -- the manager even went to the police station to file the papers for us when we had a business event.
I can hardly wait to go back to Cusco to go stay there again.

Room Tip: The suites on the top floor have fabulous views.
